Guestbook comments from the owner
We are from Virginia and this is our first visit to Hawaii! We loved Hilo and our stay at Mika Mizu! It was a true tropical experience with the sounds of frogs and birds each night. Mahalo for a wonderful place to stay on the Big Island. For future guests, be sure to check out the National Park at night to see the glowing caldera. It was our 10-year old daughter's favorite part of the trip!
We met in Hawaii, fell in love in Hawaii....and the rest is history. Now we get to share our good fortune with guests from around the world.
We are happy to have a wonderful home in Hawaii, and we love the Big Island, its many sights and its friendly people.
Hilo gives one the chance to get a feel of the 'real Hawaii.' The Farmers' Market in town is a riot of color from the many exotic fruits and flowers. There's just a special feeling one comes away with after exploring this unique area.
