BLUFF HOUSE WITH PANORAMIC, WHITEWATER VIEW

We loved arriving after a long drive to a surprise of walking through the ivy covered gate to beautiful and private ocean views high above the beach. We all felt right at home in the cottage. Plenty of room in the kitchen and living room. The kids loved the game system. Even the little ones felt right at home with kids books and bath toys. The area was amazing with Patrick's Point State Park ~ what a gorgeous area to explore. The beach directly below the house was worth getting to as well. We were able to see tide pools with starfish and other oceanic life. And so close to see the Redwoods too!
Well maintained and comfortable property. The washer/dryer was in working condition. A plus having a grill on the property as well.
Even the evenings were fun watching the sunset over the sea and making a fire/roasting marshmallows in the fire pit!
We could easily have stayed a week, or longer.

We have traveled all over this beautiful country but nothing compares to the beautiful views you will experience from outside or right from the sofa in the living room. All the conveniences and extras you would want are available during your stay. Having these items allowed us to spend our time as a family just like we would have at home. I appreciated the attention to detail and QUALITY of the items available. Something as simple as a quiet dishwasher so you continue to enjoy the soothing sounds of the ocean. The down sofa for a more comfortable sit to the wonderful bed linens. You will enjoy the huge gas grill and the relaxing fire pit. We only ate out once in 7 days taking advantage of the well stocked kitchen from olive oil to most spices. The farmers market will provide you with all the fresh produce you would want. Be sure to try the fresh strawberries!!!! All these little things makes the Bluff House worth every penny and a stay you will never forget. This is one of our most relaxing and enjoyable family vacations. Many thanks to everyone at the Bluff House who contribute to making such a wonderful vacation possible.

My 8 night stay was not enough! I had a fabulous time. Everything is just as described and really includes everything you could need or want. The views are incredible and the house is cozy and comfortable and has all the amenities of home.
I spent hours just gazing at the ocean. It is close to so many state and national parks--I had a new place to hike everyday. (Everyday, that is, that i could tear myself away from the house!) This is the perfect place to get away from it all. It felt very private and I enjoyed seeing the horses and surfers on the beaches below. The fog rolls in and out at all times of day. The surf sounds amazing with the windows open. I slept on the futon in the den area in order to go to sleep listening to the ocean. Trinidad is a nice town and I enjoyed eating at the local places, in addition to cooking at the house. Moonstone Grill, which is just about a mile from the house, was a great place to go for a nice dinner with a terrific view.
Beverly, the owner, was very easy to work with and accommodating to my schedule. I was excited to be able to meet her when I arrived. I definitely hope to return sometime. I would most definitely recommend this property to someone wanting a quiet, beautiful and private setting. This is a great place for restoration and relaxation!
