Enjoy a retreat to nature on one of the last-of-its-kind ranches in Colorado's front range. You'll be staying in an 1800 sq. ft. cabin that combines mountain charm with HDTV and wireless internet. The king-size master has its own bathroom. The other two bedrooms (one full-size, one with 2 twin beds) share an updated bathroom with slate shower. In the living room you can get cozy by the beautiful stone fireplace, or enjoy the player piano and game table. But what really sets this rental apart is its setting. The cabin looks out on a pasture and pond where you might see a herd of elk, blue heron, canada goose, or the occasional fox or coyote. It backs onto our own private mountain - you won't want to miss a hike to the top for some of the most beautiful views in Colorado. All of this within 1 hour of Denver and 15 minutes of quaint downtown Evergreen. Once you're here we don't think you will want to leave, but if you do, recreational activities in the area abound!

Evergreen is an outdoor enthusiast's dream - hiking, biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, horseback riding, fishing, and golfing are all available nearby in scenic Evergreen. You can also be downhill skiing in less than 30 minutes at nearby Echo Mountain. As you drive into Evergreen you will see the lake that the chamber of commerce refers to as the 'jewel of the community. . . that offers year-round fishing, boating in the summer and ice-skating in the winter.' Golf is also available for a reasonable price at the beautiful and challenging municipal course at the far end of the lake. When you've had your fill of the outdoor activities you can enjoy the many interesting shops and restaurants in quaint downtown Evergreen. You might also want to catch one of the many concerts or art shows that are held regularly. There are so many wonderful things to do in Evergreen, Colorado - but you'll have to decide it's worth leaving Broce Ranch to do them.

    Dogs must be kenneled when left alone in the cabin.
    Kennels are available for $35. for the duration of your stay.
    Security and pet deposits will be 100% refunded within 30 days after departure when guests leave cabin how they found it.

Our family just spent one of the most beautiful Thanksgiving holidays on the Broce Ranch. The cabin is clean and well equipped for cooking, roomy for dining, very comfortable sleeping...and spacious! lots and lots of space! Peaceful outdoor surroundings, amazing sunrise from the deck, beautiful wildlife (horses, red fox, deer, and heard the coyotes), great hiking just behind the cabin. Nice location...easy drive from Denver, close enough to shopping and the town of Evergreen...however, you won't want to leave the ranch. Plus you can still be connected with TV and great wireless internet service. This place is a treasure! We will definitely stay here again.

This is one of my favorite places in the world. It is a huge ranch with great homey cabin and a rustic ranch feel. When you pull in through Evergreen, a beautiful small mountain town, and drive up the mountain you come to the end of a dirt road, drive past an old style ranch house and big beautiful barn. Continuing up the mountain, you see huge pine and aspen trees and a small pond which is nice both for fishing and bird watching. Going further, you arrive at a ranch style cabin, which is nicely updated with beautiful bathrooms, modern amenities, as well as having a wonderful view. Behind the cabin is private wooded mountainside, full of wildlife and great for hunting and hiking.

I would stay here again in a heart beat and will defiantly recommend to friends and family.
