Gallery 2 is in a meticulously restored century old building close to downtown and minutes from the subway, the Atwater Market and the historic Lachine Canal. An ideal pied-à-terre for anyone that wants to be in one of the most dynamic boroughs in Montreal.

This 900 sq. ft., 2nd floor unit is bright, sleeps 4 to 6, has hardwood floors and ceramic tiles. Spotlessly clean & tastefully decorated with original art, high quality furniture and linens & appointments throughout. It features MBR, BR, bathroom w deep tub and washer & dryer, den w (double) pull out sofa, DR and a full kitchen with dishwasher that leads out to a large deck with 2 patio sets and 2 BBQ’s (note the deck is shared w 1st floor). The deck is next to our beautiful rooftop garden. Also equipped with books, board games and access to a DVD library

The deluxe IGA grocery store is just 2 blocks away and there are many fine restaurants (Joe Beef, Tuck Shop) within walking distance.

There are many things to do in this area, including public tennis courts across the street, cycling or rollerblading on the Lachine Canal bike path (leave your bikes at home, our rentals are a bargain). Great apartment! Very clean and well kept. Many thanks to John and Jane for their warm welcome and supply of fresh Montreal bagels! The owners were always available if needed. Well organized local information and wireless internet on site. Quiet location close to Atwater Market, the Lachine canal, and downtown. Recently renovated and plenty of space for our 16 month old to roam. We visit Montreal often and the apartment was perfect for our family gathering (fully equipped kitchen). We're planning to rent the unit again for upcoming visits.

Clean, Bright, Beautiful apartment in the heart of St. Henri close to everything

I stayed in this apartment for the weekend of April 19-21, 2013. It was extremely clean and well-kept and the photos provide a completely accurate depiction of the place. It is a short walk to the Atwater market and close to the Ste. Catherine street strip. It is a quiet neighbourhood. It has everything you need for a short or long stay. With the summer coming, the large rooftop deck will come in handy.

Great rental for Montreal vacation with our toddler!

The apartment beds were very comfortable and the space is large that there is plenty of room for you to move around. Street parking was easy. We used the kitchen a lot! Montreal has a 20% sales tax on EVERYTHING! So even though food had sales tax on it it was cheaper and easier to cook breakfast (go to Atwater market for baguettes & pastry's) and dinner (go to IGA better than Super C) at the apartment. They even had a high chair and a pack & play for our toddler to use! John & Jane were very pleasant and helpful.

Owner's Response: Hi T, The tax rate in Montreal (Quebec) is around 15%. I've noticed that New Yorkers never give 5 on 5 even if they like a place a lot. I'll work on lowering taxes and you work on raising those ratings!!! Hope to see you again!

Wonderful accommodations

My family and I spent two and a half weeks in this unit and felt very much at home throughout our stay. The apartment is exactly as advertised, it was impeccably clean, very well equipped (the washer and dryer came in very handy) and quite large. We will return for future visits to Montreal and would certainly recommend it.
