Come and enjoy this relaxing & cozy weekend get away located in the Indian Hills peninsula on Lake Livingston. Drive time from Houston is approximately an hour and a half. This cottage provides a favorable view of the lake from it’s spacious rap around front deck. The deck is roomy enough for stretching out, dining outside and barbecuing. The two driveways on the grounds ensure ample parking for two cars and a watercraft. Access to the lake is via one of the finest public boat ramps on the Lake. The boat ramp is located at the entrance of the Indian hills peninsula, very convenient. A boat rental facility (nice boats), offering jet skis, pontoon boats, and power boats is near by. If fishing is your passion lake Livingston is a paradise. White bass, black bass, Striper, crappie and catfish are very plentiful in the lake. Don’t miss this great opportunity for a week-end filled with fun. Come relax and enjoy all the recreational activities Lake Livingston can offer.

Lake Livingston is located in east Texas 80 miles north of Houston and 175 miles south east of Dallas, making it a great choise for a weekend getaway. Lake Livingston is the second largest lake completely within Texas borders. Seven miles wide at it's widest point and many times that in length. Many varieties of fishing are available, there is fishing at the spillway, fishing at the source rivers, the creeks and the main body of the lake. Any type of pleasure boating is possible including sailing. The Indian Hills peninsula, where the cottage is located, is a very unique neighborhood, affording an Island like atmosphere for the happy residents and visitors. The lake will be in view at all times as you walk the three and a half mile perimeter of the peninsula. Walking, jogging and bicycling are common on the streets because auto traffic is very light.

A get getaway!!!!!!!!!

We stayed here June 19-25th we are a family of four. This was a great place for us to relax and have lots of family fun. The owners are awesome and are very nice they took good care of us and made sure we had every thing we needed. We went fishing, swimming and on bike rides we also played a cool family game they had. The Hammock was my favorite spot with all the large beautiful trees and shade. This is a for sure summer stop if your looking. And a GREAT price too!!

The description of the layout was very accurate. The property was very clean and well maintained. It was very nice and quite. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would like to visit again.
