My family of 6 adults and an infant stayed here very comfortably. A/C worked great, the three bedrooms and two full baths were outstanding. The setting was awesome with very good access to the river. Would highly recommend it.
This cabin is very cute and well appointed, concrete floors for summer fun (pretty cold in winter tho), and an easy walk to the river. However, all the beds were extremely hard! I told the owner, but I think the renters should know also. It was just the two of us and we needed a relaxing weekend away to catch up on sleep among other things. I wound up sleeping on the sofa. We tried all three beds. We couldn't find any sleep-number controller in the master bedroom, but that bed was very loud and squeaky with every little movement anyway so it would be hard for us to share it - however the owner assured me afterward the controller was there. There were no keys to the river so we couldn't take many supplies down for the day. Also for large parties I would not recommend it as the septic system seems delicate. O well. I'd hoped to find a place to host some fun summer river parties - Guess I'll keep looking.
This is a great house/cabin. The little brook running by the side close to the fire pit was so relaxing. I would stay here again and again. And Carrie is the perfect land lord... She responded within minutes to all my questions, and has done a fabulous job remodeling the cabin ! I have already recommended it to friends..
What a beautiful place! We had friends come from 3 different states. They loved the house and the area so much they are planning to do this annually. Thanks for a great piece of heaven. We will be recommending to all our visitors.
This was a great cabin to get away from the city for a long weekend with my family and in-laws. While we were hoping it would be a little bit more private, the neighborhood is quiet. This is great place to stay while you explore Wimberley and the surrounding area.
My wife and I spent a three-day weekend in this cabin, along with our son and one his friends. The location was great - very tranquil tucked back under a grove of live oak trees and along a creek bed. My son and his friend had a wonderful time fishing in the river and caught and released several small bass. Access to the river frontage really enhanced our stay! We cooked burgers out in the side yard one evening and sat out by the fire pit and enjoyed the cool October weather with a great bottle of wine purchased at the wine shop on the Square. I highly recommend breakfast from the Sugar Shak bakery - everything was terrific and fresh. We wanted a weekend to decompress and got exactly that!
