My family of 6 adults and an infant stayed here very comfortably. A/C worked great, the three bedrooms and two full baths were outstanding. The setting was awesome with very good access to the river. Would highly recommend it.
This is a great house/cabin. The little brook running by the side close to the fire pit was so relaxing. I would stay here again and again. And Carrie is the perfect land lord... She responded within minutes to all my questions, and has done a fabulous job remodeling the cabin ! I have already recommended it to friends..
What a beautiful place! We had friends come from 3 different states. They loved the house and the area so much they are planning to do this annually. Thanks for a great piece of heaven. We will be recommending to all our visitors.
This was a great cabin to get away from the city for a long weekend with my family and in-laws. While we were hoping it would be a little bit more private, the neighborhood is quiet. This is great place to stay while you explore Wimberley and the surrounding area.
My wife and I spent a three-day weekend in this cabin, along with our son and one his friends. The location was great - very tranquil tucked back under a grove of live oak trees and along a creek bed. My son and his friend had a wonderful time fishing in the river and caught and released several small bass. Access to the river frontage really enhanced our stay! We cooked burgers out in the side yard one evening and sat out by the fire pit and enjoyed the cool October weather with a great bottle of wine purchased at the wine shop on the Square. I highly recommend breakfast from the Sugar Shak bakery - everything was terrific and fresh. We wanted a weekend to decompress and got exactly that!
I took 7 ladies to the Log Cabin Getaway for a birthday celebration for my Mom. We loved the Cabin. It is so quaint and adorable. It was perfect for 8 of us to stay there for the long weekend. The inside had everything you'd need. Towels, bed linens, pillows, ceiling fans, 2 different a/c controls (1 for downstairs & 1 for upstairs), a huge table we could all fit around, a large den/living area with tons of chairs, a fully stocked kitchen with plates, glasses, & various pots/pans to cook with, 2 adorable bathrooms and it was just cozy and inviting. The outside was great too. There is a fire pit that we used to have a camp fire and the drive to the cabin is on River Road. It is very scenic. Even the next door neighbor was friendly. This would be great for a family gathering. I look forward to possibly returning to this cabin! The cabin is just a short drive to Wimberley. Great little town to explore with some great restaurants.
