This is a beautiful 2 bedroom /2 bath condo located at Pelican Beach Resort across from the Big Kahuna Water Park on Hwy 98E in Destin. It is a gated property with security at the entrance and covered parking. Some of the wonderful amenities of the resort include two tennis courts, a video game room, outdoor gas BBQ grills, an exercise room with sauna, a restaurant/deli and outdoor tiki bar. There are three swimming pools - one is an indoor/outdoor heated pool, a kiddy pool and a large outdoor pool with hot tub. Numerous golf courses, great restaurants and shopping including upscale outlet malls and the new Destin Commons mall are just minutes away. This is a very conveniently located 5th floor unit overlooking the pool area, beach and ocean. Both the living room and master bedroom open to a large balcony with a panoramic view of the beach and ocean. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the guest bedroom has a full bed. Must be 25 or older to rent.

we stayed the week after christmas. the room is on the 5th floor, on the end and close to the elevator that is closest to the parking garage. so it was easy to get in and out.

the location is great, we could get to the pool, gym and beach easily. the location is in the middle of destin...so shopping, restaurants and activities are minutes away.

condo was in good condition when we got there, with all the amenities in good working order. worth every penny of the great price. we plan to return to the same condo for the summer.

Wonderful!!!!!!!

This was fantastic!!! I would recommend to anyone. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room inside & on the balcony. I chose this online and was quite worried. However, the pictures showed exactly what it was like. I did everything online which made it easy when we arrived. I had to get a parking pass from the front desk which was as easy as it sounds. They were very friendly. This location was in the middle of everything from restaurants to stores. I was planning to pick a locatin while i was down there for next time but we will be staying at the same Condo because it really was that great. I really can't say enough on how much we really enjoyed it. WONDERFUL PLACE!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

nice condo!

We really enjoyed our time at this condo at Pelican Beach. While not luxurious or brand new, the furnishings were nice and very comfortable. The balcony was nice and big, with a pretty good view of the beach. I liked how you could look out the window and see the beach from the kitchen, living room, and main bedroom. The condo was very convenient as it was right by the elevator and on the 5th floor.

Pelican Beach really has a "resort feel", as opposed to just a building by the beach. There's a nice sized indoor/outdoor pool as well as a large pool with a waterfall. There's also a small pool for young children. There's a shop right there where you can find groceries, beach gear, and breakfast/lunch. There's also a nice tiki hut to get your drinks for the beach or pool. So you really don't have to leave the place at all, except to go out for some great seafood at dinner in one of the 1000 nearby restaurants.

You really can't beat the sugar white sandy beaches of the Destin-Panama City area. But while there was plenty of room on the beach when we were there, the designated beach area for PB was not that big and it would likley be crowded during holiday or summer weekends.

Overall, this condo was a a great value for the price and I could defintely see our family staying there again sometime!
