Andalusia inspires relaxation!: This custom built (Artisan of Seagrove Beach) luxury beach home is tastefully decorated by owner Emilie, the former proprietor of Watergate Florist and Clayboui Interior Design, Design Center Washington DC. Furthermore, the artwork that adorns our walls was painted by Emilie to enhance the Mediterranean inspired peaceful feel of our home. We want our guests to unwind from their hectic lives, relax, and enjoy visiting our gated Paradise By The Sea community with its expansive private beach, few homes, and minimal traffic. Park your car and walk to Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Seacrest since they are so close by. We are confident you will want to return and stay with us again!

Andalusia offers the best in amenities!: From our incredible Gulf views from every room in our home to our thoughtful room layout and furnishings, all details have been considered to ensure a fantastic beach vacation. Have a glass of wine watching the sunset from the large fourth floor tower. The kitchen is a chef's dream with Subzero, Wolf, and Miele appliances. Two adjacent dishwashers will handle the large family gatherings. The third floor Kitchen/living/ dining room is wrapped in windows bathing you with sunlight and expansive Gulf views. Take the elevator for bedrooms both in front and back areas of our home on first two levels. Loggias (15 x40ft) connect both the second and first floors with ample covered outdoor seating overlooking the large courtyard pool. The spacious bedrooms offer privacy and special features in each. No one will be disappointed regardless of which bedroom they choose! Each luxurious bathroom is adorned in granite and architectural tile work.

About Chuck and Emilie Sykes

Katie, Emilie , and Julia wish for you to have a great time at the beach while visiting our home. Chuck (not pictured) wants you to relax and enjoy your time with us as well!

Katie is a UGA Honors Program recent grad who is applying to medical school. Julia is senior marketing major in Terry School of Business at UGA too.

The beaches along Scenic 30A between Destin and Panama City are among the most beautiful in the world. We love the varied interesting architecture seen at the upscale communities seen along 30A. This area is the center of the 'new urbanism' concept so park the car and enjoy walking to all amenities. This is a very family oriented area offering any amenity you could want for a great beach vacation. There are no crowds since only single family homes and small condominium buildings are found along Scenic 30A.

This is Paradise!

We have a friend trip every year. This was our first time renting a house together. This house is amazing. I can't really describe in words. It was far more amazing then we ever imagined it would be. The view is unbelievable. We went mid September and the weather was perfect. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants a luxury beach vacation. It's Perfect. We will be going back if we can.

Our family stayed here in May. We entered with such enthusiasm and anticipation of great things as was advertised. I can only say looks only go so far...the problems started immediately with the television/dvd players not working properly in the living room area and the other recreation area. Phone call put in for repair. This repair was completed within a 48 hour period. Then we noticed that the ice maker in this fabulous refrigerator, did not work at all. Oh, yes and neither did either of the double ovens! We had to put the temperature on broil, to get a usable oven temperature for baking. As if all of these issues were not enough to dampen our spirits, the construction alongside this property as well as across the street did a darn good job. Listening to beeping and drilling and workers staring into the pool area, vehicles blocking the parking, you get the picture. We put in calls for repairs and yes someone came out and agreed that the ice maker did not work and the ovens did not work either, the owner was notified, but NO repairs were made. My husband browsed through the book that visitors write in and low and behold the ice maker was mentioned in there a year before our visit. So while the upgrades of tile were pretty, the beds comfortable the "other" important parts of our stay were definitely scarred by the lack of concern by the owner. We asked for some money back and were given a very small token amount. We paid top dollar for this vacation but we did not receive top dollar amenities or service. Will NOT return or recommend this property. I also believe visitors should be told about construction being so close and a discount given for the inconvenience. I felt we were taken advantage of.

Owner's Response: Emilie and I, as well as our local management company take great pride in creating the best possible opportunity for a great beach vacation at Andalusia. Our home rivals the best to be found for rent along scenic 30A. We appreciate constructive criticism, and address opportunities for improvement expediently. We have added a dedicated free standing ice maker to supplement the Subzero highest quality refrigerator/freezer in kitchen. The Electrolux ovens have been serviced and function well with proper use. Simplification of AV equipment remote controls has improved ease of use as well. The owners guarantee to all guests that any correctable problem will be addressed promptly during their visit or compensation will be offered. Scenic 30A is very popular, and therefore, construction is a given. County noise and work rules are enforced, however, similar to the weather, the owners and management company cannot always predict the degree of work occurring at any given time. Please do be aware of construction anywhere along 30A when making a rental decision, and ask about this issue if of concern prior to booking any vacation home. Our enclosed beautifully landscaped courtyard with 15 x 30ft pool offers much privacy. Please see our video and pictures to get a great representation of the outstanding amenities we offer. Owners Chuck and Emilie, and our management company are glad to help with any and all questions and concerns. Simply give us a call, and then have a great time at Andalusia!

Large family gathering

Our entire family LOVED this home and decided they want to come back for our next family vacation. This is truly an amazing home, one filled with luxurious finishes throughout, and yet everyone was comfortable and relaxed. That's quite a feat given the ages of our family members range from 2 to 85 years old. The home accommodated each of us beautifully. We particularly appreciated the alarm system on the doors leading to the pool area for the children's safety and the elevator to help bring my mother to the kitchen. The views of the gulf were incredible and the sunsets were spectacular. It's difficult to adequately describe other than to say the home was built and appointed with every consideration for a luxurious stay. We felt extremely fortunate to be staying in your beautiful home for the week. It was a lovely backdrop to the sights and sounds of our family being together. It far exceed our expectations. Thank you.
