This charming and light-filled historic house is located just three blocks from the famous Santa Fe Plaza.

Special features include wood and brick floors, high ceilings with skylights, authentic Southwestern architectural style, and original adobe construction. It is in a quiet location set back from the street with parking for two cars.

The house has two bedrooms with quality sheets, with a queen bed and two twin beds, and a brand new queen sofa bed.

There are two bathrooms, fluffy towels, an open-plan and spacious living room with HD TV and Blu-ray DVD player, wireless Internet, a dining table that seats 4-6, and a fully-equipped efficiency kitchen. Amenities include washer/dryer and swamp cooler (A/C) , towels and linens, a dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker, and coffee mill.

The home is close to everything: the Plaza, eclectic shops, a variety of great restaurants, art galleries, history and art museums, and the summer opera. No need for a car!

Outdoor activities include mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, rafting, snowshoeing and skiing in the surrounding wilderness areas.

Near Santa Fe you can visit Indian pueblos, shop for local handicrafts, golf or go fishing. In addition, there are several interesting historic sites to explore.

Everything Is Most Excellent...

We stayed at the Chavez Home for a week in January. It is easy to walk to great shopping, food and cultural attractions like the O'Keeffe Museum, the Plaza, and the neighborhoods surrounding the Plaza. It is also an easy hour's drive to Taos...
The house sits way away from the main street and is very quiet and very private. It is decorated and supplied very comfortably.
The beds are great and the kitchen well equipped.
We will very enthusiastically refer other people here.
Get good directions from Heidi, the manager, as it is off the main street.
The Cost Family is the best!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Our vacation to Santa Fe was nothing less than perfect, and the Chavez Estate was the best choice we could have made. The property was clean, extremely comfortable, and supremely charming. Our family of four found the quaint house very spacious and easy to feel at home immediately.

A short walk to all of Santa Fe's most awesome spots, the location was ideal. Off the road ( great for the kids to play ) and great outdoor spaces for enjoying the sunny spring weather. Having a fully stocked kitchen as well as laundry made things very easy with the kids,

I cannot wait to return...both to Santa Fe as well as to the Chavez! I highly recommend this property for your Santa Fe vacation. It is simply perfect.

We recently stayed at the Chavez Home over a long weekend in October. The house is within walking distance to some great shopping, food and cultural attractions like the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and the Plaza.
The house is set away from the main street so feels very private. It is decorated nicely with shabby chic, eclectic furnishings, old and new. A nice combination.
The beds are good quality, the kitchen well equipped, the internet connection strong.
We needed a restful break and this house has a wonderfully calm vibe. We will recommend it to others.
It is off the main street so be sure to get good directions from Heidi, the manager, before you go!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
