About The Owner
My wife and I, along with our four kids, live outside of Pittsburgh. It's a great place to live if you like professional sports, hunting, fishing, music and theatre.
The Owner purchased this house in 2003
Why The Owner chose Captiva Island
After vacationing in Captiva many times we realized there weren't many places that had as much to offer. It's as much activity as you want, or as little. You can be gone all day shopping, shelling, fishing or visiting other islands on the local cruise boat. Or you can just sit on the beach, relax and watch the beautiful sunsets as you sip margaritas from the Mucky Duck.
What makes this house unique
The house is right in the middle of all the action on the best street in the village. You can walk to everything within minutes. We have arrived at the house, parked the car and not used it again for days! It's so nice when even a large family can all go to lunch without having to jam in the car. Once back inside the house the quiet serene and peaceful nature of it's design will make you feel like you're the only ones on the island!
Guestbook comments from the owner
We have just returned to Lansing after a fabulous time on Captiva Island.
Your home was the perfect fit for our family. It was in the BEST location,
offered everything we needed and more and provided ample space for our
extended family. The furnishings and condition of your home offered us a
luxurious stay. The grandkids especially loved the pool and seemed to be in
it most of the day. The game room was well used and the ping pong contest
champions enjoyed their victory and now hold bragging rights until the next
family gathering. We could not have had a better time! Your home was ideal.
Thanks again, Mary
