This property was great for our large group of 9 adults and 4 kids. The finished, walkout lower level with it's own full bath is great for one family to use.
The upstairs loft has a bedroom and separate full bath.
The main level has two bedrooms and a large bathroom with fancy shower stall and separate whirlpool tub.
Having the sleeping split amongst 3 levels allowed us to spread out and have some privacy and space.
Having the washer and dryer is convenient, and the second refrigerator in the basement was useful too.
The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils/serving ware, and has good appliances (the dishwasher is the quietest I have ever used).
The main living area is very open, with tall ceilings, and huge windows and doorwalls with great views of Bear Lake. The house is situated up above the lake, providing great views from everywhere in the house.
The separate garage is HUGE, and would provide ample storage for bikes and other gear that renters might bring.
The basement has a large 8 foot table and folding chairs. We brought this table upstairs so that we all could eat together at the same table, with views of the lake. Having this table was a big plus.
The deck is very large, with considerable furniture for relaxing.
This house is less than 1/2 hour from Hartwick PInes State Park, a great place to visit. Check out the logging museum and the Chapel in the Pines (we got married there!).
The owners were very professional and attentive to phone and email questions both prior to and after booking.
The lake seems very quiet and serene. I suspect this to be true even in the summer time.
All in all, this property was great!!
