Close enough for a large family to share, distant enough for small parties to enjoy privacy and quiet. Both the one-bedroom/one-bath cottage and the two-bedroom/two-bath cottage are surrounded by open space and endless horizons. Enjoy unobstructed, breathtaking views from the decks and from every room. The homes are unique because they're so secluded and private, yet are only five minutes from the middle of all the wonderful sights and activities available on Maui's beautiful, historic West Side. The property sits just above Launiupoko Beach and is surrounded by hiking trails, with a mystical rain forested valley above to explore. Enjoy scuba diving or snorkeling trips to Lanai. Then come home and relax to huge vistas of Lanai, Molokai, and Kaho'olawe -- Maui's three neighbor islands. During whale season, watch whales breaching from your special Maui getaway.

    ***Rates are for 4 guests in the 2BR and 2 in the 1BR. Add $10/night for each additional guest up to the maximum.

    A fully refundable cleaning/damage deposit of $200 is required.

The cottages are for people looking for something other than the usual, crowded, condo/urban rental -- but still want to be minutes away from a wide array of sophisticated entertainment and activities. As I say, "Far from ordinary, close to everything!" The cottages are all new construction, and thoughtfully furnished. They come with all amenities including private phone lines, answering machines, laundry (and supplies), and satellite TV, among other things.

Unbelievable Views! Thanks for the best vacation ever. The 2 bed cottage had everything we could possible need and we loved the wrap around deck with views of Water and Mountains. The furnishings inside and out were very nice. One of our favorite things was waking up to the many exotic sounds of birds blending with the quite. We were close to town if we needed but we quickly learned the quiet was soothing our senses. The stars at night were breathtaking! The last day we could view a submarine in front of the house. Will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in West Maui. The accomodations were very comfortable and the view was outstanding. To be able to sit on the lanai and watch the whales was something that I have never done before. We enjoyed the proximity to Lahaina where we enjoyed sightseeing, whale watching, and nearby snorkeling. We definitely will consider returning someday. Thanks!

Many thanks for the Christmas west Maui cottage visit with all the comforts of home and such a magnificient 360 view. It was a truly beautiful, comfortable and convenient place to stay outside busy Lahaina. Just the right distance for daily/evening activity, but out of the main stream. We loved whale watching from the deck, the crazy birds and lovely flowers, as well as viewing the fabulous rainbows over the mountains several times daily. We did do some sightseeing and touring Maui and our son took some scuba trips, but the best was just enjoying the views and solitude from the cottage. What a fabulous treat you have there! We certainly DO highly recommend it!!

OUR RECENT OCTOBER 2008 STAY IN MAUI AT YOUR COTTAGE WAS A FANTASTIC HOLIDAY, THE COTTAGE WAS EXCELLANT, THE VIEW WAS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING WITH THE MOST BEAUTIFULL SUNSETS. I USUALLY DO NOT CHOOSE TO JUST SIT AROUND MUCH AS I ENJOY BEING BUSY DOING THE BEACHES, SIGHTSEEING AND SO ON BUT ON THIS PARTICULAR VACATION I FOUND THAT FOR A FEW OF THE DAYS I WAS VERY CONTENT TO SIT AND ENJOY THE VIEW AND THE SUN ON THE DECK, BBQ A COUPLES OF MEALS AND JUST SIMPLY RELAX. HOPEFULLY THIS CAN HAPPEN AGAIN BEFORE I RETIRE JUST TO ENJOY IT ONE MORE TIME.

ALOHA JAN – We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Maui, and most especially the 3 weeks we spent at your 2B, 2B cottage. It was an ideal place for us to come home to every evening after a busy day AND relax on the deck, barb-b-q, watch the sun set right in front of us over the ocean! It was very neat to see the cruise ships lit up at night & the lights in Lahaina from the deck. We really liked the big kitchen (farm style) and rooms. AND to relax & enjoy the Jacuzzi tub each evening before bed was a special treat for me. AND then to wake up to the sound of birds singing and walk out onto the Lanai with its expansive ocean view & read, eat breakfast and then go for a morning walk in the hills, which we loved. We thank Dale for helping us get booked into any tour our hearts desired, and I can’t thank Marilyn enough for taking us hiking into the Launiupoko Valley behind us. The valley behind us was so beautiful & we had a rainbow almost every day! If we ever return, we would definitely stay there again, as I just can’t say enough good things about it. Again, it was all so beautiful, and we have so many wonderful memories of the island. Mahalo
