Manatee Haven is located on a private island where there are no cars (golf carts only). This four-bedroom/three-bath, air-conditioned home was completed in early 2003 and overlooks the Gulf of Mexico. The ground level patio is fully enclosed with a 40 foot high screen for an elevator, spa, swimming pool and private shower. Manatee Haven is an 'upside down' stilt home offering its bedrooms on the first level, and the great room, kitchen, and expansive screened patio on the second level. The third level features a crow's nest.There are two king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, and one twin suite. Three bedrooms are equipped with Satellite TV for your private enjoyment. There is a PlayStation2 in the special twin bedroom suite. There is a screened lanai off the master bedroom. The second floor has a fully-equipped kitchen with Corian counter tops and a bar. The great room is fully furnished for dining and watching 450+DVD movies on a 42-in wide TV which is connected to DIRECTV.

There is plenty of room on this level to relax and enjoy the Gulf views from a Natuzzi leather sectional -- or to watch 400+ DVDs on a 42-in LCD/TV or listen to some great music on a Bose Acoustic Wave music system. We also have a Wi-Fi Internet connection for laptop computers. A dining area that seats eight is off the kitchen. A 25-foot lanai faces the Gulf; there you can relax amid Gulf breezes, and take pleasure in the view. From the screened lanai, there is a staircase that leads to an observation deck with a grand 360-degree view of North Captiva Island, the Gulf, bay, and surrounding islands. A telescope is available for viewing the night sky. A screened, heated, 15 x 32-foot swimming pool and spa are in a large screened patio on the ground level. Swim laps, play pool games or just sit and relax! A private hot/cold shower is available and a Weber charcoal grill and a George Foreman electric grill are ready for your poolside grilling. A golf cart is included with your rental.
