The beach is beautiful. The condo is breezy, clean and comfortable. The owner is around in case of any problems.
Excellent beach for walking, swimming, biking.
Tons of places to eat, drink & be merry.
Golf everywhere.
The property was refurbished recently. Great kitchen, everything you need. Bathroom was in fine working order. Bedrooms are small and adjoined, with plenty of drawers for storage, only one double door closet for hanging stuff.
I would not rent this place with my in-laws, (unless you're very close) but for a couple, or if you have small children, it is fine.
Pool on the property is nice, but the outdoor furniture needs replacing. Also this condo needs better stuff on the balcony, and the beach chairs are beat up.
Parking lot is ample and convenient, elevator works, beach is right there - the views are spectacular.
Jacksonville Beach, is a Florida beach community, not the Caribbean.
Lots of twenty somethings at the local watering holes. Go to Atlantic Beach, or Ponta Vedra for a more sedate dining experience.
Police have a sort of laissez-faire attitude about enforcing rules like, "no dogs on the beach between 9am and 5pm," and, "no alcoholic beverages on the beach," and, "please try to be quiet when you come home at 4am," etc.
The social contradiction between the wealthier beach front inhabitants and the local embedded population makes for interesting people watching opportunites. Bring your camera!
We would rent here again, great location!
