7th Arrondissement Eiffel Tower Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Apartment, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-5)

If you are a respectful and mature group or a family with well behaved children you will enjoy a wonderful apartment on the Left Bank. Sorry, no singles or individuals under 30 unless accompaied by a parent. Minimum Rental is seven days. The apartment building is quiet and we expect our guests to respect the tranquility of its residents. It is not a hotel nor is it party central. It is located in the Heart of the 7th Arrondissement, located off the Avenue de la Bourdonnais and faces a quiet street. The neighborhood is one of the safest in Paris and a favorite of famous personalities and discerning visitors. The apartment is equipped with two air conditioning units in the family room/guest bedroom and master bedroom. This exceptional property, can accommodate 6 persons comfortably. The apartment could, under limited conditions, accomodate seven but it will be exceptionally 'cozy'! Helpful French people will great you upon your arrival along with a bottle of wine and sparkling water. One will feel like a true Parisian going into a completely furnished apartment while visiting Paris! Open the inside windows Tuesday thru Sunday to smell the fresh baked pastries. Sorry, no smoking or pets are allowed!

I have completely renovated, furnished and decorated the apartment in the Fall of 2008. If you can appreciate and treat this two-bedroom (each with a queen bed), two bath apartment, complete with a separate living area (a queen sofa sleeper) as your second home, I am sure you will enjoy your stay in Paris. The apartment is but a few minutes from the Eiffel Tower! Take an evening stroll to the Eiffel Tower and watch a dazzling strobe light display. This building is completely secure and is located on the second floor (3rd American), with easy elevator access! The building designed by Pierre De Taille and was constructed in 1905. A true Parisian building!

The apartment is over 625 square feet in size and contains nearly all the amenities one could use during one’s stay in Paris. The kitchen is fully equipped… but why bother when there are so many wonderful Bistros, coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants nearby! The facility is also equipped with a washer and dryer, hair dryers, iron and ironing board, two flat screen TV's, a DVD player and internet access. The wood floors were recently refinished and adorned with Asian rugs.

Minutes away are the rue St. Dominic with wonderful local shops, pharmacies, grocers, coffee shops and bakeries for your enjoyment. A few blocks down rue St. Dominic is the rue Cler, one of the most famous market streets in Paris and features the best green grocers, patisseries, delicatessens, wine merchants, cheese merchants, fish shops and butchers in Paris. Food is a passion for Parisians and there are numerous Zaggot rated restaurants located in close proximity to the apartment.

Paris is a walking city and from our apartment one is centrally located to all of the Parisian attractions! The Champ-Elysees is approximately a fifteen minute walk! The Seine and the “Bateaux Mouches” river tour are about a 5 minute walk. There are also multiple gardens to visit, sit, read and enjoy the ambiance of Paris!

There are several bicycle rental stands nearby to enjoy the sights of the city. A suggestion for your first day in Paris is to take one of the open air busses to get a good idea of where the major sights are located in Paris.

Transportation throughout the city is extremely convenient. If you prefer not to walk everywhere, there are several bus stops and metros nearby, which go in different directions of the city. The Louvre, Notre Dame, Musee D’Orsay, Marais and Sacre Cour are but minutes, by public transportation, from your door step. The RER from the airport is located a few blocks from the apartment and only requires a simple transfer at St. Micheal. This train will also take you to Versailles. Bicycles can easily be rented at the end of the street for easy transportation throughout the city!

All taxes, linens, towels, gas, electricity and cleaning (cleaning included with minimum of 7 day stay), are included. The apartment also has a Pack'n'Play for infants.

Our guests can be met at the apartment by our representative who is very familiar with the neighborhood. He or she will also show you the technical features of the apartment and answer questions you may have.

I purchased this apartment in Paris after searching for over six years! I often travel to Paris for business and can explore the sights between appointments. The evenings are reserved for a fabulous dinner at one of the many favorite restaurants! (There is a listing of many enjoyable in the apartment book). Many of these are located on the same block as the apartment! A leisurely stroll home from dinner, with the lights of the Eiffel Tower in the background, makes for a perfect night cap!

Peter purchased this apartment in 2008

I chose this location for its proximity to the Eiffel Tower, the tranquil neighborhood and transportation locations, which are conveniently close. The neighborhood is not full of the commercial traffic one experiences in other parts of the city. The tourist attractions and shopping locations are within walking distance for one's enjoyment.

The taxi ride to and from the airport is reasonable and the apartment is easily located. If you are comfortable with adventure, one could also take the train from the airport.

You can enjoy waking up in the morning, opening the front door of the apartment and smelling the aroma of the freshly baked pastries and breads drifting from the bakery on the ground floor. Guests can load up a back pack with Paris books and camera and explore. One can occasionally stop for a beer or glass of wine throughout the day and enjoy the ambiance of the city. Many times too, one could stop in one of the beautiful gardens located through out Paris and read.

Perfect in Paris!

We are currently staying in this lovely apartment. We are a family of four with two young boys (ages 8 and 10). The apartment is exactly as described and it is very comfortable for the four of us. We couldn't ask for a better location and have been able to easily explore all of Paris and surrounding areas from here. The owner was an absolute joy to deal with before our arrival. He sent us many, many e-mails to help us to get the most out of our visit. We love the neighborhood and frequent the many restaurants and make a morning stop at the bakery on the ground floor of the building daily. It was so nice to have a representative of the owner meet us and show us how to use everything in the apartment (he even arranged taxi service back to the airport for us). The bottles of sparkling water and nice bottle of wine were an unexpected surprise. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable for 4 people. The beds were heavenly and it was so nice to have 2 bathrooms, 2 showers, a dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Our children watched movies nightly on the DVD player. We greatly enjoyed watching the Eiffel Tower and the light show every night. All in all, our experience was PERFECT IN PARIS!!

This apartment is quite cozy as the pictures show. Be aware that there is only one window to the street and it is in the master bedroom. The others overlook the trash courtyard with little light filtering through making the living area dark. Our biggest disappointment was the water leak in the salon with paint and plaster unrepaired. The corner has peeling and bubbling paint. The same issue is on the other side of the wall in the bathroom. Actually both bathrooms have a mildew odor in the showers. The owner did not mention this prior to us renting but did tell us after our return that the leak had been there 3 years, was now fixed and waiting to be painted.
The apartment was not particularly clean, no dishtowels or sponges for the kitchen, no welcome bottle of wine and sparkling water, dirty placemats and smelly fridge.
The owner was very communicative with us before our visit and answered all our questions, gave us good suggestions for places in the neighborhood, had manuals on how to use everything in the apartment and it is in a great location for sure BUT we will not be renting this apartment again nor recommending it to family or friends.

Owner's Response: This apartment is my “Home Away from Home.” A substantial amount of time, money & resources were spent to gut the apartment & furnish the premises to be a comfortable place for me to live when I retire. My apartment is available for guests to use when I am not there. One only needs review the other comments to see what other guests experienced.

I am not surprised by this review since I did not give her perceived extortion request of $2,000.00 before she gave a review of the apartment

To substantiate her request:
1.She wanted an early check in rather than waiting until 3:00 for the apartment to be thoroughly cleaned. If spots were missed, my service would have come back
2.I offered to send her a bottle of wine if missed in the rush to clean the apartment but she refused
3.She made up false charges of her cleaning A/C filters, refrigerator, defrosting the freezer, providing cleaning supplies & dirty sheers. Little did she know I was in the apartment two weeks before her arrival and took care of these things (5 times a year I do these) as well as dry cleaning the sheers
4.She had to boil water in a the tea kettle provided because she did not know how to use the electric kettle
5.She blamed me for the street construction but the reality of living/staying in a major city – no one has control over when or where maintenance/construction takes place
6.She blamed me for telephone calls made to my apartment. I cannot control outside callers.
7.She complained about my apartment lighting. It has plenty of light and more of a view than most apartments; it is a matter of her opinion. I assume guests are in Paris to spend time in the city and not worry about what outside looks like during the day. It is sad and disappointing a guest feels the need to disparage my home.
8.The corner of the living room and bathroom have water damage. It took the Association 3 years to locate the problem and repair it. Thick concrete walls need 6 to 8 months to dry before repainting and will be completed before Spring of 2014.
9.I have an excellent service address any issues guests may have during their stay. Their number is included on the direction sheet provided in advance of arrival. She communicated with them during her stay. If she had issues, she could have communicated these to them during her exchanges. I had talked with my service and they mentioned she had no issues with the apartment. I cannot deal with her concerns after she left.

Noel a Paris

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs - with two teenage girls we wanted two bathrooms, and these are the best we've seen in all of France, let alone Paris. The apartment is compact but extremely well-equipped, and the beds are outstanding as well. Everything truly was as pictured in the listing photos; no surprises, apart from the Christmas decorations! The location is unparalleled, especially if you're skilled with the Paris bus system. The market at the corner of la Bourdonnais and rue de l'Universite is a great addition to what used to be a commerce dead zone, and it's very convenient for picking up non-boulangerie breakfast needs.

Dealing with Peter to make the arrangements was a pleasure; Xavier on the Paris end was very accommodating as well. All in all, a delightful stay, a lovely apartment, and we hope to return soon.

Perfect Paris Rental for Family of Four

This past August, our family had the pleasure of renting this wonderful Parisian apartment for a week. This was our first visit as a family to the City of Light and we wanted everything to be magnifique. Our week in Paris turned out to be perfect and renting this apartment in the 7th arrondisement certainly helped to make it so. It is clean, well appointed and superbly located. The owner has taken great care to modernize the apartment without disturbing the original ambience. The apartment is furnished very comfortably – clean linens (hotel quality), great flat-screen TV and a decent collection of movies and the kitchen is outfitted with modern appliances. Two washrooms and two very comfortable double beds and a pull out couch allowed for ideal showering and sleeping arrangements for our family of two adults and two teenagers. This owner clearly loves Paris and has taken care to leave lots of useful and up-to-date information and brochures for a great stay in the city. We found that this apartment was the perfect spot to anchor our daily trips around the city. Breakfast was easy and delicious with a wonderful patisserie just below. Terrific bistros, restaurants, grocery stores, metro and RER stations and the wonderful shops of Rue Cler were all just steps away. Our evening strolls became magical with the Eiffel Tower shining its golden glow just above. Highly recommended.

We had a superb experience here in this apartment. The listing was accurate: we couldn't have been closer to the Eiffel Tower and it was a joy to see it from close-up every day. The apartment was the perfect size for the 3 of us (my sister had the bedroom with the folding doors & enjoyed being able to shut it off from the rest of the apt. and she had the best chair there too) & it was great to have the 2 bathrooms + laundry facilities. The beds were extremely comfortable & the kitchen was great to have. We used it a lot to prepare simple meals & have our wine & cheese at night. Thank you, Peter. Great location and great value!
