If you are a respectful and mature group or a family with well behaved children you will enjoy a wonderful apartment on the Left Bank. Minimum rental is seven nights. No singles nor individuals under 30 years old. The apartment building is quiet and we expect our guests to respect the tranquility of its residents. It is not a hotel nor is it party central. It is located in the Heart of the 7th Arrondissement, located off the Avenue de la Bourdonnais and faces a quiet street. The neighborhood is one of the safest in Paris and a favorite of famous personalities and discerning visitors. The apartment is equipped with two air conditioning units in the family room/guest bedroom and master bedroom. One will feel like a true Parisian going into a completely furnished apartment while visiting Paris! Sorry, no smoking or pets are allowed!

The apartment is over 625 square feet in size and contains nearly all the amenities one could use during one’s stay in Paris. The kitchen is fully equipped… but why bother when there are so many wonderful Bistros, coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants nearby! The facility is also equipped with a washer and dryer, hair dryers, iron and ironing board, two flat screen TV's, a DVD player and internet access. The wood floors were recently refinished and adorned with Asian rugs. This exceptional property can accommodate 6 persons comfortably. The apartment could accommodate seven but it will be exceptionally 'cozy'!

I have completely renovated, furnished and decorated the apartment in the Fall of 2008. If you can appreciate and treat this two-bedroom (each with a queen bed), two bath apartment, complete with a separate living area (a queen sofa sleeper) as your second home, I am sure you will enjoy your stay in Paris. The apartment is but a few minutes from the Eiffel Tower! Take an evening stroll to the Eiffel Tower and watch a dazzling strobe light display. This building is completely secure and is located on the second floor (3rd American), with easy elevator access! The building designed by Pierre De Taille and was constructed in 1905. A true Parisian building!

Minutes away are the rue St. Dominic with wonderful local shops, pharmacies, grocers, coffee shops and bakeries for your enjoyment. A few blocks down rue St. Dominic is the rue Cler, one of the most famous market streets in Paris and features the best green grocers, patisseries, delicatessens, wine merchants, cheese merchants, fish shops and butchers in Paris. Food is a passion for Parisians and there are numerous Zaggot rated restaurants located in close proximity to the apartment.

Paris is a walking city and from our apartment one is centrally located to all of the Parisian attractions! The Champ-Elysees is approximately a fifteen minute walk! The Seine and the “Bateaux Mouches” river tour are about a 5 minute walk. There are also multiple gardens to visit, sit, read and enjoy the ambiance of Paris!

There are several bicycle rental stands nearby to enjoy the sights of the city.

  • The old bathrooms were completely removed and new bathrooms were installed. Each has a shower, toilet, vanity and closet space. The second bathroom also has a large washer and dryer.

A new Pack 'n' Play crib/basinet has been added.

Perfect in Paris!

We are currently staying in this lovely apartment. We are a family of four with two young boys (ages 8 and 10). The apartment is exactly as described and it is very comfortable for the four of us. We couldn't ask for a better location and have been able to easily explore all of Paris and surrounding areas from here. The owner was an absolute joy to deal with before our arrival. He sent us many, many e-mails to help us to get the most out of our visit. We love the neighborhood and frequent the many restaurants and make a morning stop at the bakery on the ground floor of the building daily. It was so nice to have a representative of the owner meet us and show us how to use everything in the apartment (he even arranged taxi service back to the airport for us). The bottles of sparkling water and nice bottle of wine were an unexpected surprise. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable for 4 people. The beds were heavenly and it was so nice to have 2 bathrooms, 2 showers, a dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Our children watched movies nightly on the DVD player. We greatly enjoyed watching the Eiffel Tower and the light show every night. All in all, our experience was PERFECT IN PARIS!!

Noel a Paris

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs - with two teenage girls we wanted two bathrooms, and these are the best we've seen in all of France, let alone Paris. The apartment is compact but extremely well-equipped, and the beds are outstanding as well. Everything truly was as pictured in the listing photos; no surprises, apart from the Christmas decorations! The location is unparalleled, especially if you're skilled with the Paris bus system. The market at the corner of la Bourdonnais and rue de l'Universite is a great addition to what used to be a commerce dead zone, and it's very convenient for picking up non-boulangerie breakfast needs.

Dealing with Peter to make the arrangements was a pleasure; Xavier on the Paris end was very accommodating as well. All in all, a delightful stay, a lovely apartment, and we hope to return soon.

Perfect Paris Rental for Family of Four

This past August, our family had the pleasure of renting this wonderful Parisian apartment for a week. This was our first visit as a family to the City of Light and we wanted everything to be magnifique. Our week in Paris turned out to be perfect and renting this apartment in the 7th arrondisement certainly helped to make it so. It is clean, well appointed and superbly located. The owner has taken great care to modernize the apartment without disturbing the original ambience. The apartment is furnished very comfortably – clean linens (hotel quality), great flat-screen TV and a decent collection of movies and the kitchen is outfitted with modern appliances. Two washrooms and two very comfortable double beds and a pull out couch allowed for ideal showering and sleeping arrangements for our family of two adults and two teenagers. This owner clearly loves Paris and has taken care to leave lots of useful and up-to-date information and brochures for a great stay in the city. We found that this apartment was the perfect spot to anchor our daily trips around the city. Breakfast was easy and delicious with a wonderful patisserie just below. Terrific bistros, restaurants, grocery stores, metro and RER stations and the wonderful shops of Rue Cler were all just steps away. Our evening strolls became magical with the Eiffel Tower shining its golden glow just above. Highly recommended.

Perfect in every way

We had a superb experience here in this apartment. The listing was accurate: we couldn't have been closer to the Eiffel Tower and it was a joy to see it from close-up every day. The apartment was the perfect size for the 3 of us (my sister had the bedroom with the folding doors & enjoyed being able to shut it off from the rest of the apt. and she had the best chair there too) & it was great to have the 2 bathrooms + laundry facilities. The beds were extremely comfortable & the kitchen was great to have. We used it a lot to prepare simple meals & have our wine & cheese at night. Thank you, Peter. Great location and great value!

Easter in Paris

We had an extraordinary time in Paris. The apartment had all the Parisienne charm and all the amenities of home. It was quite comfortable, beautifully decorated and we enjoyed being able to sit and relax as a family. The owner thought of everything including a bookcase of extensive travel guides and binders of helpful hints. The neighborhood was charming and we loved having the patisserie/boulangerie right below us...I gained 3 pounds but it was worth it. Xavier was fantastic...extremely helpful and thorough with his instructions - he made our first impression of Paris an excellent one. He arranged for our taxi ride back to the airport with a gentlemen named Jean-Marie who was also excellent. I would highly recommend him as a driver/guide.

We visited many of the standard tourist attractions during our stay but my sister had arranged for a segway tour of Paris for my daughter's 16th birthday - it was an absolute blast! We were able to see the sites, get a little history and have some fun all at the same time. I would suggest a segway tour to any family with teenagers...it's a win-win. We used City Segway Tours on rue Edgar Faure which was a short walk from the apartment - our guide was Rick and was excellent.

I will definitely return to Paris - it was wonderful - and made special by the use this apartment.
