Step back in time! Sea Breeze Farm is a circa 1850, authentically restored, salt-water heritage farm on 18 picturesque acres in the land of Bays and Dunes overlooking the beautiful Gulf of St. Lawrence. The house is walking distance to Campbell's Cove Park beach & minutes driving to Basin Head Park beaches. The main house is a charming Victorian farmhouse furnished with Island antiques. There are six sunlit bedrooms, two are master bedrooms, that comfortably sleep 10 people. There are two full & one half bathrooms, a new LARGE MODERN COUNTRY KITCHEN with all new appliances & conveniences. A separate dinning room, charming living room, CD/TV/VCR, separate laundry room with new washer and dryer, and a new screened porch with ocean and pastoral views. Luxury bed linens and all amenities are provided including crib, highchair, books, games, beach chairs, bicycles & a grill. Seven barns, woods for hiking, wildflower meadows, and the ocean complete the 'Anne of Green Gables' setting

Sea Breeze Farm is on the eastern end of PEI. We are located on the North side of the island directly across from the town of Souris which is on the South side. You are within walking and a short driving distance to 4 of PEI's most popular and picturesque beaches. Churches, restaurants, museums and East Point lighthouse are all within several minutes driving distance. Lots to see and do but not a lot of people.

Visit East Point Lighthouse where the tides meet, eat fresh lobster in quaint North Lake Harbor, hunt for sand dollars in the famous Singing Sands of Basin Head Beach, play championship golf at Crowbush and Brudenell, rent sea kayaks, attend a seal watching excursion, ride bikes on the quiet roads, charter a deep-sea fishing boat, or fly fish for fresh and sea-run trout and salmon in the Morell River. Introduce your children to Anne of Green Gables. Eat fresh lobsters, mussels, and crab at home or in one of the area restaurants. Read your favorite book. We were looking for a family vacation that would be away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Being from New England we did not want to deal with all the crowds on the Cape and the Islands (which we have been to for many years). We did want to be near the beaches and most of all we wanted a chance to relax. We found everything we could have wanted at Sea Breeze Farm.

The house was warm and welcoming and the property was gorgeous. We were within ten minutes of several beaches of different types - the red clay beaches for exploring, the white "singing sand" beaches and basin Head beach where our teens could play all day in the ocean.

The rooms in the house were all immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities you would need and plenty of prep and cooking space.

We could not have enjoyed our stay more and we will look to return again. If you are looking for an opportunity to get away and relax Sea Breeze Farm has everything you could ask for.

Our week vacation at Sea Breeze Farm was more then we could ask for. It was an absolute pleasure. The house was very clean and had everything described in the listing plus some, especially the comfortable mattresses. The modern kitchen & screened in porch made it a pleasure to cook & dine. The owners & the housekeeper could not have been friendlier. We highly recommend this home to anyone and we definitely would return for another week in paradise.

Infested with brown beetles

My family rented Sea Breeze Farm for one week in July '09. We left after three days because the interior of the house is infested with brown beetles that came out by the dozen at sunset. The landlord didn't warn us about the problem although there were two pages of information about the beetles on the kitchen bulletin board when we arrived. The landlord offered to have insecticide sprayed in the house, but the information on the bulletin board stated that spraying is ineffective for beetles already inside the house. The landlord refunded only a small portion of our rent (less than two days' worth).
Owner's Response: Sea Breeze Farm was inspected by the PEI Department of Tourism and received their top A rental rating with the comment "very clean and tidy". The house is not infested with bugs. Unfortunately this renter was not happy staying in a country setting like Sea Breeze Farm. Although the lease did not require it a refund was issued and accepted. We wish this renter luck in the future finding a vacation home that fills their environmental needs.
