Riverbend Lodge is a deluxe ski in/ski out property located at the base of Snowflake Lift, which is only a neighborhood chairlift and no lift lines. Built in 2001, this newer property is 3 blocks from downtown and on the free shuttle routes. The studio units features a cozy floor plan complete with sandstone hearth fireplaces, kitchenettes, and free wireless Internet. The bedding arrangements include a queen bed and a sofa sleeper. Common area amenities on-site include indoor and outdoor hot tubs and grills, cozy lobby with WiFi and flat screen TV, fitness room, private heated ski lockers, garage parking, and elevator access.

Ski:

Since 1961, Breckenridge, Colorado has been recognized for its world class skiing. With 29 lifts and 2208 acres of renowned runs and ski terrain in the country, a novice/beginner skier can have just as much fun as an expert on the mountain!

The Breckenridge ski resort is split into four different mountains simply named Peak 7, Peak 8, Peak 9 and Peak 10. Navigating from peak to peak is easy and trouble-free. Breckenridge has a total of 147 trails and 722 acres of bowl terrain!

Golf:

The Town of Breckenridge can boast that it is the only municipality in the world to own a Jack Nicklaus designed, 27-hole golf course. The course opened for play in 1985. During the summer 2001 golf season, the Town opened another nine holes also designed by Nicklaus and every bit as challenging as the original 18-holes. The new Elk nine as it is named, offers more elevation change than the Bear and Beaver nines.

Since the opening of the course, national and regional honors have been bestowed on Breckenridge. Honors awarded by the Colorado Golfer (the State Golf Newspaper) have included; Best Mountain Course, and Toughest Mountain Course. Golf Digest 'Places to Play' rates Breckenridge as a 4 1/2 Star Facility, and as one of their top 'Upscale Places To Play' in the nation. In May 2010, Golfweek rated Breckenridge as one of the 'Top 50 Municipal Courses' in the nation. The course is also Zagat rated.
