It is deeply wooded with an abundance of hardwoods on both sides. Once you have made this turn on our lane, you will be delighted with the serine, natural beauty that surrounds our home. The views are amazing from the cabin! Everywhere you look, you see beautiful Smith Mountain, undeveloped woods and the lake.
We offer easy access to the lake either by driving or walking the road which leads to the waterfront or you can take the walkway directly to the lake. The walkway has beautiful all season gardens on either side with well over 150 plantings. You will also enjoy the gardens sitting on your deck and the abundance of color it offers!

About Alicia Yowell
We are both retired and loving it! We were the original developers of Cedar Key. We purchased it in 1983 when it was a operated as resort since the 1970's. We have loved Cedar Key and have been an active member to maintain its beauty and serenity.
My husband worked for the Farm Credit Administration for over 30 years as its Chief Financial Analyst. I was a social worker for years in the District and then worked as a realtor for 22 years in Northern Virginia. We have two wonderful adult children who love Cedar Key. We made wonderful memories here as I know you will.

Why Alicia Yowell chose Huddleston

My husband worked hard for four years to create this magic for you! The all cedar cabin is very well maintained and always spotlessly clean. Read the reviews, everyone just loves it. It is simply charming and inviting. You will not want your vacation to end.

Guestbook comments from the owner
We enjoyed our staty at the cottage. It is a great peaceful getaway from the world of work!Unfortunetely, it rained and went down to the 60's for the first 3 days. However, it warmed up quickly and we fished, swam, boated and water skied. The Lake and scenery is spectacular. This is on of the most relazing vacations I have ever had. Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did
