A magnificent time was had by all… what a great party house, speakers both in and out of the house, open floor plan with lots of sitting areas and the view… what a view, just beautiful. The deck is spectacular and the big old oak tree provides lots of shade. The bathrooms are awesome and loved the kitchen, great selection in cabinets and granite counter tops. If you don’t love this place, maybe you should only vacation at the Ritz.
We swam every day across the lake and back. Did lots of tubing once we were out of the cove, took the kids to some of the Islands where we and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. We even went peach picking at a farm outside of Bedford. Lots to do for the family. The house is perfect for a Romantic weekend as well. Comfortable furniture throughout, and most importantly, they have very comfortable beds. The house was spotless and the landscaping is very nice, especially gardens leading to the lake.
This was a great place for a family gathering. We had about 25 family members in the lodge to celebrate Christmas. The place was clean and everything we needed for a wonderful meal was readily available. We also built a fire on in the evenings, compliments of the owners stocked woodpile. Thanks for offering such a wonderful place to celebrate Christmas.
Our family spent our Christmas at this lodge and it was absolutely wonderful. There was plenty of room for dining, relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous view of the lake. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped for the guest. Can't wait to go back again!
This cabin was absolutely perfect. The description and pictures were exactly as it appears in person. The cabin was clean and I would highly recommend this rental to anyone. Thank you for a relaxing and cozy vacation stay.
The house was spotless when we arrived and the owner was very easy to work with as we planned a Thanksgiving weekend, renting the lodge and 2 cabins close by for a family gathering. We will definitely be back again!
I can honestly say the pictures don't do this place justice. There is plenty of room here and the furniture and beds are very comfortable, clean and beautifully maintained. The views are stunning and the access to the dock was great. We drove down most days just because it was easier to pack up our stuff in the car for that days boating excursion.
And when they say stocked kitchen that's exactly what it was. There was plenty of dishware and cookware but what surprised us was the fully stocked cabinet of spices, sugar, flour. There was even detergent for the washer and paper towels and toilet paper. Alicia was extremely helpful and had provided tons of information for activities and dining out while there.
Highly recommend this rental and we plan on renting again. Our adult children met us here and stated this was the best vacation ever
