Ocean Sunsets

My husband and I spent a week at this apartment. It was perfect for us! We loved the deck and spent a lot of time there admiring the beautiful view. It was really nice to have a washer/dryer and also beach supplies such as chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards available whenever we needed them. It was a quiet street but still within walking distance to bars and restaurants. And a short drive to many of the other San Diego attractions. We can't wait to come back!!

My husband and I wanted to attend a Joyce Meyer conference in San Diego, and decided to make a vacation out of our trip. We were blessed to find this place - right on the water so the peaceful rhythm of the waves put us to sleep every night. The apartment was clean, neat, cozy, and well cared for, with everything you needed right there. The view was also peaceful - we watched several sunsets right from our balcony.

Our hosts, Tim and Kathy, compiled a booklet with things to do in San Diego and recommended restaurants. We went on their suggested desert hike, complete with stopping for a pie in a small town on the way home - the apple pie was the absolute best we had eaten (sorry mom!)! We also visited the zoo and the aircraft carrier museum....both are MUST see! We attended a local church in La Jolla on Easter Sunday, and went to Mt. Soledad - what an amazing view, and memorial to those who have served us all in the military!

We definitely plan to stay here if we are ever in San Diego again...and in fact, we may just schedule a vacation for next year without any other reason to go back! Tim and Kathy are very friendly and gracious hosts, and you will feel very welcome at their place. We wish them and their guests many blessings!!!

Great little apartment, located on the cliffside overlooking the ocean, with a nice view of the pier at Ocean Beach. Located close(within a short walking distance) of the beach at Ocean Beach, plus all the great restaurants and shops. Very safe area for walking around, and very friendly folks in the neighbourhood. Short drive to Old Town, downtown, or Sea World. The accomodation was great, with everything we could ever want.

Tim made us feel that this was our very own little place, and even offered an extra day's stay on him because the weather was stormy one day of our stay. Really appreciated the offer and definately would have stayed on at our "little piece of heaven", if we weren't expected elsewhere. We will be back!
