This cabin is tucked away in the woods only 5 minutes from Boone and 1/4 mile off of Hwy 105 so it is a great location if you want a peaceful place only minutes from the 'action'. The lower half of the cabin is a large and comfortable suite, decorated in country motif. The living room is very large and has a fireplace, large screen TV, sleeper sofa, and love seat, comfy reading chair and a small library. The dining room has a table with 4 chairs, the fully equipped kitchen has a d/w, pots and pans, dishes, etc. and the bedroom has a very comfortable queen pillowtop bed and a TV with a dresser, chest, and walk-in closet. This is a beautiful country suite with all the comforts of home and modern conveniences such as cable TV, and Wi-Fi. You can easily get to Boone, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, or Blowing Rock from here. The historic Mast General Store in Valle Crucis is 5 miles, Boone is 5 miles. The lower cabin has a separate entrance and complete privacy.

This cabin is located within minutes of 3 ski slopes, (Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, and Appalachian). The specific location is 5 miles SW of Boone city limits on Hwy 105 S. DIRECTIONS: From the intersection of Hwy 321 & Hwy 105 (at the 2 story Wendy's) go south on Hwy 105 for approx. 8 miles; turn RIGHT on FRED HATLEY RD.(landmarks-after Maw's Produce, before Echota, at the Bronze statue place); drive 3/16 mile and you will see the cabin on the left. There are only 2 houses there and this is the first one.

What a wonderful place to stay! We had already made reservations to return before we left. Very clean, and absolutely everything you could need is right there in the cabin. Plenty of clean towels. Close to everything attraction you could want. Andrea, thank you so much for the wonderful cookies and coffee. I have to be honest and say I almost didn't want to write a review because I would love to keep this place to myself. Very private and quiet. I absolutely love your cats. One came in with me one day. Hope you don't mind. I now have a place I know I can go to when I want to visit my son at app. Thank you for allowing us to rent your cabin. We will be back next month. Maybe sooner.

Andrea's Cabin

We had an incredible stay at the cabin this past weekend. My husband and I needed some rest and relaxation which is exactly what we were able to get at this cute cabin. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything and anything we could have ever needed. The charcoal grill was easy to use. The property is literally minutes from everything yet tucked up in the woods with little to no noise in the evenings. Andrea is incredibly friendly and makes everything known up front. The wireless internet was good for us to check up on our kids during the weekend. It was a great stay for a great price!

Beautiful pet-friendly cabin.

My two doggies and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Andrea's lovely cabin - it's not easy finding a nice pet-friendly place to stay in the area. The cabin is very comfortable and nicely appointed and decorated. It even has a DVD player and VCR (including a video library) for relaxing after a long hard day on the trails. It is in a great location, only a few minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and right outside of Boone. Andrea is a wonderful hostess (she even had us over for dinner our last night), the price is reasonable. What more can you ask for! Highly recommended.

Great Getaway

We absoutly loved it. The location and price was perfect. I loved the cabin. The right size and cutely decorated. I would rent only this cabin everytime I visit. Aundrea and her husband David were great and very curtious. Could have not asked for better just wanted to stay longer.

Nice cabin at a good price.

Nice place to stay and a great price! Very close to ski areas which was nice. We were able to take our 2 small dogs which worked out great as we didn't have to kennel them.
