Wir verbrachten im Frühjahr 2009 zehn angenehme und ruhige Urlaubstage auf dem Pilion. Das Ferienhaus hat eine schöne Atmosphäre und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wer hierhin fährt, sollte allerdings wissen, dass es im Dorf nur einen sehr kleinen Minimarkt und eine sehr einfache Taverne ohne Terrasse gibt. Eine weitere Taverne ist manchmal am Wochenende geöffnet. Man muss also für alle Einkäufe (beispielsweise auch Brot) und für Tavernenbesuche mindestens 15 Min. mit dem Auto fahren.
Owner's Response: Dorftaverne ab Juni tägl. geöffnet.
Im Umkreis von 7 Autominuten (2 Nachbardörfer) gibt es weitere sehr gute Tavernen, darunter die, mit dem besten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis in der Umgebung.

Traumhafte Ruhe

Afete hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen, ein kleines Dorf abseits des Touristenrummels mit herrlichem Blick aufs Meer. Wir konnten die Seele baumeln lassen. Hatte man Lust auf Trubel fuhr man ins 25 km entfernte Volos. Auch in der absoluten Hauptferienzeit ist es uns gelungen wunderschöne ruhige Strände zu finden, wertvolle Tipps gab uns der sehr nette Vermieter und seine Frau. Das Ferienhaus hatte eine sehr gute Ausstattung und es fehlt einem an nichts, schon die Möglichkeit zwischen drei Außensitzplätzen je nach Laune und Stand der Sonne wählen zu können ist traumhaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir verbrachten hier 4 Wochen im Juli 2008. Das Haus ist wunderschön restauriert, mit herrlich bewachsenen Terrassen. Erwähnenswert sind das schöne Badezimmer mit Waschmaschine, die guten Matratzen und die guten Belüftungsmöglichkeiten, dadurch ist das Haus auch im Sommer angenehm kühl. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Achtung !! eigene Handtücher mitbringen!
Der sehr freundliche Vermieter wohnt im Haus oberhalb, von ihm bekommt man viele interessante Tips, da er bereits seit vielen Jahren hier lebt.
An Restaurants können wir nur empfehlen, Yanni in Neohori (unbedingt Alfa Bier vom Fass trinken) preiswerter kann man am Pilion kaum essen, nette Taverne auf der Plateia, hauptsächlich Gegrilltes, in Afissos können wir die Taverna Selin empfehlen, gute griechische Küche nette Bedinung , am nördlichen Dorfbeginn.
Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen, viele Strände sind innerhalb kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto erreichbar. Mietwagen oder eigenes Auto ist erforderlich.

Familie Kohn, Lenningen: Dass der Pilion eine wunderschöne Gegend ist - angefangen vom geheimnisvollen Regenwald bis hin zu den fast menschenleeren Stränden - darüber sind wir uns alle einig! Was wäre das alles aber ohne die Menschen, die wir hier kennen gelernt haben. ** Fam Stöckli, Schweiz: Vom 12.Juni bis 28.Juli verbrachten wir hier eine besondere Zeit. Sieben Wochen time-out vom normalen Arbeitsleben eigenen sich wunderbar, um sich wichtigen Dingen im Leben bewusst zu werden. Wenn dazu noch eine bergig-mediterrane Landschaft und ein Haus mit dieser Atmosphäre kommen, ist das Glück eigentlich vollkommen. Wir sind froh und dankbar für die Zeit, die wir hier verbringen konnten.
