This loft apartment is located on the first floor of a 19th century Palazzo. Its windows look out directly on a courtyard on one side, and on a garden on the other side.

This 70 square-meter loft apartment is very quiet and comfortable. It is modernly equipped and tastefully furnished. There is wood parquet everywhere except in the bathroom.

This loft-apartment accommodates from four to six persons maximum. Amenities include heating, air-conditioning, and satellite TV with BBC and many other channels in English, Spanish, French and German. There is also a washing machine with incorporated dryer. And there's a telephone which enables you to call the urban area of Rome (free of charge), and to be called from all over the world.

Location: Rome < Rome & Lazio < Italy

This apartment is very conveniently located near the touristic attractions.

Colosseum, Fori Imperiali, Piazza Venezia, Fontana di Trevi, Circo Massimo, Caracalla and the major basilics are at a reasonable walking distance (from 5 to maximum 20 minutes).

For Spanish steps and the Vatican, the metro station Vittorio Emanuele is very close and you can get there in a few stops.

The area is very lively and save, there is plenty of choice regarding grocery stores, restaurants and bars.

It is within ten minutes walking distance of famous Basilics like Santa Maria Maggiore, San Giovanni in Laterano, and San Pietro in Vincoli. And of course, the Vatican is close by as well by metro just a few stations.

The area is very safe. There is a very pleasant park -- the Colosseum Gardens -- five minutes away. There are plenty of food stores, restaurants, wine bars, and all types of shopping just next door. The connection with the metro and bus is excellent. Access to museums, the theater, and beaches is very convenient, and you'll find plenty of nightlife for your entertainment.

A perfect place to spend a Roman holiday!

The place is very good!

Only two lacks...
The from small shower water flows to the floor...
The conditioner sometimes loudly creaks...
Recommended for:  Romantic Getaway

Not what we asked for

I had clearly mentioned to the owner that we will be 4 adults and 1 child traveling to Rome however this house was definitely not a suitable for 5 of us.
The toilet could only be used once every hour or even longer because of siphon problem. The hot water was only available couple of times a day.
I must admit though that the location is one the best you can get.
Owner's Response: 99% of the guests think that the description contained in the website coresponds to what they get really and considering that the youth hostal costs 25 euro per night in Rome ( sharing a dormitory and the bathroom with unknown people without kitchen and livingroom! ) the cost of this apartment is cheaper and more than fair.
Now, the problem of the toilet sounds new and we happen to to be aware of it only reading this mail. I really don't understand why these guests did not complain to me about this, I would have sent the plumber immediately!
The problem of the hot water is the only weekness of this apartment but clearly mentionned on the website. THere is a boiler of 100 liters, once finished you have to wait a few hours until it heats up again which is slightly different from the complain written in the review.

A great base to explore Rome

This apartment is in a great location. It's an easy walk to most of the major sites in Rome, or for those that prefer, the bus is right outside the entrance to the apartment block and the train is only a couple of blocks away. Another bonus is that the apartment is at the rear of the block, so it is away from the main street and is very quiet at night - perfect for a good night's rest.

It was very clean and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We'd definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and family and we'd stay here again if we return to Rome.

Family Vocation in Rome

Our Family (2 adults + 3 children ) spent 3 nights in the apartment in May 2011. We have found it very comfortable , very well maintained , in excellent location. The Wi- fi was great plus . Marie was very pleasant and helpful. The area is close to the Colosseum and st. Maria Magore church with a very close public transportation and places to eat nearby.

Very recommended place for Rome!!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Perfect location

It's been a while since we last stayed in this apartment, but we still have fond memories of it. Perfectly placed in Rome, within walking distance of most attractions, this apartment is quiet, safe and we felt like we were Romans, not tourists. The shower is not perfect, as some of the other reviewers already mentioned, but good enough. Especially if you consider the price. We are seriously thinking about coming back this year!
