La Cruz de Huanacaxtle Vacation Rental house

We stayed at Casa Liliana over Easter break and it was everything and more we could ask for. The villa was very large and spacious with the tiki hut look in the living room you always felt you were on vacation even inside! There are no bathroom pictures but there should be. They are very spacious with large walk in showers and a beautiful master bath downstairs. There are 8 pools at this complex and we could always find lounge chairs and plenty of privacy...not very busy. This area is between La cruz and Bucerias so either you need a car, or walk 30 minutes down the beach to town, or if you're adventurous you tke the bus. We "bussed" it all over the place with our kids ages 9 to 18. You get a real feel for the culture. The buses are easy to figure out . The gate men at Punta Esmeralda were very helpful as was Jesus at the beach club in telling us where the buses stop. You can catch a bus right at the entrance to Punta Esmeralda which is very close(i/2 block) walk from casa Lilina. The owner Shirley will send you alot of information about tours(she knows the best price tour company around...Scott's) and any question I had prior to arrival were immediately answered by e mail.We were able to go on ATV rides and wash our clothes that night! What a bonus! There was a blender so we made fruit smoothies and margaritas and hit the mega store for groceries and never needed to leave if we felt like staying at the resort. The beach club is open from 10 to 7pm and you can get food and drink by the pool at the beach club if you like. You could also take any food or drink from your condo to the other pools as long as you clean up your mess and everyone at the complex keeps it very clean. Security is tight and we always felt VERY safe. Our stay at Casa Liliana was exciting and relaxing and every single day was predictably sunny and hot. The lounge chirs at the pool also had a face shield that was especially nice. I can't stop talking about it....we had a great time.....Mary
