This is a 2900 sq.ft custom log home with magnificent mountain and valley views. Open floor plan includes separate living room and separate family room with dining room. Sitting on 2.5 acres fenced for horses. Bring your snowmobiles, skis, horses, ATVs, bikes, or we can arrange rentals for you. Decks on 3 sides provide views of Bridger Teton National Forest (Haystack Mountain), Caribou National Forest (Caribou Mountain), a short drive provides access to the Salt River, Greys River, Snake River, and Palisades Lake. Hunting, fishing, white water rafting, hiking, swimming, tennis, and golfing (27 holes) are minutes away. Winter vacation activities include snowmobiling on over a hundred miles of trails locally and on the Greys River. Snow skiing, snow boarding and cross country skiing are within a hour drive in Jackson (Snow King), Grand Teton (Jackson Hole Resort) and Grand Targee in Idaho. Come and relax and share with friends and family.

Just a three hour plus drive from Salt Lake City, Utah. Multiple activities are available all year around in Star Valley, WY.

  • Reservation/damage deposit of $500 is required. This fee must be received within (3) days of booking the reservation. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent, however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided all rules have been met.
  • The Renter will pay in advance a $125 cleaning fee upon making reservation.

In addition, there are (2) tennis course and one nice outdoor pool by a park. Nature walks are all around you. The Star Valley Ranch golf courses are used for cross country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter time. Teton National Park is an hour away and Yellowstone is two hours away. Horseback riding and Boating is available within 15 minutes. Fish?Hunt? all available.

I can't say enough about the Star Valley home that we rented. It was perfect for our family of 8. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and everything we wanted to do was close. The owners were very accomodating. We would go back again in a heart beat. Thank you for such a memorable family vacation.

Beautiful Log Home

We rented the house for three nights in August 2009. The house was very well decorated and maintained. It was more spacious and beautiful than the pictures posted on the website. The owner was very accomodating and considerate. He stacked extra linens, towels, sleeping gears and cleaning supplies for us to use. We've rented other vacation homes before and believe me, not every owner was as generous!!!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there. If we ever go back to Wyoming, we'd definitely stay there again!!!

A good Time for All

This home was perfect for our needs. We particularily enjoyed the big picture windows where we could keep an eye on the kids outside. The owners were wonderfully accomodating and extend the offer to use the kitchen amenities which was appreciated since some small kitchen supplies were forgotten. The layout of the house enabled the kids to play their movies and games still have space for others to sit and visit. The area is very picutresque and a quick drive to see the Tetons was enjoyed

We enjoyed our week stay in this well maintained and nicely appointed cabin home. We has six people in our group and used it as a base for skiing at Jackson Hole and snowmobiling in Yellowstone. It has very large common areas with a great fireplace and a well equipped kitchen. It is situated in a beautiful location. Bedrooms had cozy and comfortable bedding. Adequate outdoor parking and nice porch for leaving "gear". Owner was extremely accommodating and accessible. Great place for a family or several couples. We would gladly stay here again!
