Our family spent Thanksgiving at this beautiful house. The kitchen and dining room were perfect for our family feast. The kitchen was spacious enough for four of us to both prepare and clean-up as we cooked, and the dining room had great ambiance for a holiday meal. Even though it was November, we had great fun challenging each other to slide into the very chilly water and then jump into the hot tub. Great location... loved the deer in the morning... lots of sleeping space... kid friendly house...We would recommend it to others.

Perfect for large group

We had 2 families with a total of 4 children. The house was decorated very nicely and the kids loved the pool. Everything was as described in the advertisement. Everything was nice and clean. The only downside is the distance from the city. It was a little farther than I realized when booking the reservation, but only about 15-20 mis from stores and major restaurants.

My wife, our 2 kids and their families spent a week at the villa in August '09 and we were well pleased with everything. We spent a couple of days at Sea World and a couple of days at the riverwalk and had opportunities to do a lot more but we were always ready to get back to hanging out at the house and that great pool. The media room with tons of movies, the spacious rooms with big screen tv's, the pool area, the grill, the views, and the Guadalupe River park made this a great place to stay. With the drought that this area is suffering, this was our oasis.

Amazing Vacation Home

Our family stayed at this home for one week in August. The accommodations were excellent!!! The house had everything we needed and more! It was more than enough room for 3 families. The pool was luxurious and very cool for the Summer heat! It was hard to leave the house for other local outings! It was a vacation in itself. I felt like I was on a tropical getaway with all the beautiful palms and the villa style home. The surrounding area and views were great and made the perfect backdrop for family photos and lots of great memories! Nancy, the owner, was extremely helpful and attentive to our every need and question before and during our stay! She wants your time here to be enjoyed. We’ve made a friend for life! Can’t wait to stay here again someday!

What a beautiful house!

My family (11 total) spent a week at this property. The house is beautiful, clean and well furnished. The owner was great. We only needed a couple of things and she was polite and prompt in meeting our needs. The pool was wonderful and the kids loved the slide. The media room was a fun extra as well. We all enjoyed the views and watching the deer in the mornings and evenings.

We did not go down to the river until the end of the week and we wished we had gone down sooner. There was a rope swing that the kids used to swing into the river. It was a very beautiful area
