Great house, very nice owner

We stayed at this house over Easter weekend to have a reception for our small wedding. The owner, Bill, was extremely nice and accommodating about the many details and questions that we needed worked out. He was flexible with the dates, and was very reasonable about all of our different requirements.
He was also VERY accessible. Any time we had a question, he had answered the email within 1-2 hours, making the event flow very smoothly.
The house is also amazing. The backyard is perfect for get-togethers, and the house has plenty of space to hang out inside as well. The kitchen is large and well stocked with supplies we needed, such as bowls, mixing spoons, etc.
The house is also very close to the lake, within about a 5 minute walk, which was really nice.
The neighbors were very helpful and offered advice about parking, signage, as well as ice and supplies! I wouldn't expect someone who has to deal with renters all the time next door to be so nice, but she really was. They do have a dog that wanders over from time to time, but he's an absolute sweetheart, and doesn't bark or bother, just kind of wanders.
All in all I would definitely recommend this house for a weekend family getaway or reunion, both the owner and the house are outstanding.
