During the summer months the water is a very comfortable temperature, slow moving, & clear. In the winter the river becomes rapid & ruggedly scenic. Year round guests are drawn to the view of the river, its wildlife, its ebb & flow, & change w/the seasons. Its truly a dynamic force, & enjoyable year round. The home is a charming and nostalgic, riverfront summer home, built in the 1930's. It retains it's original character and charm, and offers an enjoyable step back in time, while providing contemporary amenities and conveniences for a perfectly comfortable stay.

On a covered deck overlooking the river is an inviting hammock, a perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon. For those looking for outdoor adventure and family fun, we offer two kayaks for exploring the river. Or try swimming, fishing from the dock for steel head rainbow trout and coho salmon, or take a leisurely float trip downstream 45 minutes into Healdsburg. There are two Daiwa fishing rods provided for your use (a license is required for ages 16 and older). We are located just outside the city limits of Healdsburg, in the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country, & enjoy frontage on the upper Russian River, where the water is clear & the river uncrowded for great family fun & outdoor adventure opportunities. There are activities to interest all ages & tastes, from winery tours, to hiking, biking, golf, swimming, kayaking, soaking in the hot tub, just relaxing, or watching wildlife from the deck. In town, there's the historic Healdsburg Plaza, with shaded benches and a gazebo.
