My husband and I traveled the world together before coming back to Boulder to start a family. We both agree that there's no where else we'd rather be. Living at the edge of the mountains in this vibrant, healthy, active, creative community is perfect for us. We're both self-employed creative professionals — my husband a photographer, and myself a graphic designer. We love applying our creativity and eclectic taste to the design of our home, and hope you'll appreciate the little touches here and there. Our main vocation is enjoying the company of our 1 1/2 year old son, Ulysses. He's truly our joy.
Amy Hayes purchased this apartment in 1999
We find this central location to be perfect for walking and biking almost anywhere. The enclosed backyard is next to an historic farm site, which extends the feeling of open space and lushness.
Flat screen TV. Spacious back yard with BBQ Grill. Convenient parking. Contemporary decor.
Highly recommend this charming property within walking distance of Boulder's Pearl Street Mall. The deft modern update of this upper story Victorian flat is consistent throughout, and a great deal of consideration has gone into every stylish detail. (On-line photographs are accurate.) All rooms are thoroughly clean, comfortable, well-lit, and outfitted with new furniture and appliances. The on-site hosts are friendly and accessible, and provide many thoughtful amenities including a limited array of kitchen staples and a computer with Internet access that made us feel right at home. Swamp cooler is surprisingly effective against Boulder's late summer heat (though its reach does not quite extend into the bedroom). Highly recommended for the traveler who wishes to enjoy Boulder's fine bike trails and vibrant dining scene; try Mateo at 1837 Pearl Street for a beautiful intimate dinner or The Mediterranean at 1002 Walnut Street for a lively get-together with friends. Locally-owned University Bicycles at 839 Pearl Street is a good choice for bike rentals.
This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Boulder. Located just a few blocks from Pearl St., you couldn't ask for a better location. The apartment itself is very welcoming with all the amenities one would need. Erik was very responsive and accommodating. I definitely would recommend this spot.
My wife and I came to Boulder for a long weekend and to see music at the Fox Theatre and Red Rocks, so the Walnut Street Home was perfect for our stay.
We lived in Boulder for over 10 years and rented numerous apartments and houses during our stay, and this upstairs apartment felt very much like one we would have rented while living in town. Amy & Erik have a great sense of style for the place, with a great layout, wonderful color scheme and even a claw foot tub!
Though we didn't spend too much time at the apartment it felt so much like home that we certainly could have and will likely be back in the future for another stay!
Very nice apt. walking distance to Pearl Street and other shopping districts. Very comfy bed, full kitchen & so much more room than a hotel! Have used VRBO many times and always a pleasant experience.
Very nice apartment, excellent location, comfortable, spacious, nice kitchen, quiet street.
I stayed here three nights and had a lovely stay. The photos are exact. Furthermore, it is walking distance to a lot of great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping on Pearl Street. I walked to The Laughing Goat, a local coffee shop, each morning and thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the bustling coffee shop. They have live entertainment in the evenings. Thank you for making my three day visit in Boulder enjoyable.
