Photos and Description of the Crystal River vacation house rental Single Family w/ 1 Bedrooms - 2 Bathrooms - Sleeps 3

A converted boathouse on the edge of the St. Martin river. The St Martins river is between Crystal river and Homossasa river. All 3 rivers are acsessable by backwater or the Gulf. This house is right on the Chas. kayak trail. Downstairs, a kitchenette and bathroom. Upstairs one bedroom overlooking the river on three sides. Very secluded, very rustic wood interior, very comfortable. Dock your boat out front and be in the gulf water in 15 min. The scallops were thick this season (July1-Sept12), but now it is time for Redfish and Trout. Or, book now for next years scalloping. This house is ideal for a single or couple. Three could stay if they are VERY close. A single mattress hides under the king size bed.

Das Haus ist ruhig und abseits gelegen, was wir persönlich mögen, die Ausstattung ist funktional und okay.Die Vermieter sind freundlich und entgegenkommend. Leider kann man im abgebildeten Wasser nicht schwimmen und auf dem Steg tragen einen die Mücken davon. Im Haus roch es sehr feucht und da es sehr heiß war konnte man nicht lüften, sonder mußte die Klima laufen lassen. Zu dieser Jahreszeit (Juli) und ohne eigenes Kanu oder Boote würde ich nicht wieder hinfahren, trotz der idyllischen Lage.

Laid Back Escape, Close to Alot of Activities

This revovated boat house has everything you need if you are ready for a quiet escape. We just fished off the boat dock..caught some crab & catfish...but really enjoyed it. Cheryl - host and owner - very friendly & easy going. Don't go expecting a 5 star property...actually don't go to this area of the world if that's how you are geared!! Take your bikes and you will find uncrowded road to explore. Close to the manatee tours, boat rentals, clear water river floats.
Good food nearby or cook your own on the grill! Friendly people all over - check any attitude you have and you will enjoy every minute!!

Everything was as advertised, Clean, Cozy, Comfortable. The owners were very friendly & hospitable host's! If your looking for a secluded quiet spot to relax & get away from it all this is it. I plan a return visit in the future & would recomend it to my friends.
