Located in the jewel of all valleys, Wears Valley. The chalet is located on it's own private mountain nestled high among the trees and with it's extensive decking you have a front row seat watching the sunsets over Bluff Mountain. The bamboo flooring, cherry cabinets, stainless steel appliances, & granite countertops make this kitchen a chefs delight. The log/stone home has four bedrooms, 1 King Log, 1 Queen Log, 1 King Sleigh Bed, 1 Queen Sized Bed & a sleeper sofa. The 2 bedrooms on the upper level have their own private balconies. The home has 6 Cable TVs, DVD player, Music Library, DVD Library, a slate top pool table, wet bar, 3 bathrooms, laundry room, 2 fireplaces, decking that wraps around the home, & WI-FI for the person that simply must email and tell their friends about the Chalet on the Mountain.

It's just a short drive of twenty minutes into either of the cities. The area offers a wide selection of things to do for the individual or family. Dollywood, aquarium, theaters, horse shows, white water rafting, horse back riding, and outlet malls are just a few of the fun things to do when visiting the area. After a long day and your just plain tired, why not jump into the hot tub and enjoy the view of Bluff Mountain.

PERFECT!!!

This is the perfect cabin, in the perfect location!! Close enough to Pigeon Forge (15 min) and Gatlinburg (20 min), yet private and secluded for some relaxation!! We absolutely LOVED this cabin and look forward to staying here again on our next trip to TN!!
Note, if you're looking for a yard for kids to play in, I wouldn't say this cabin is for you :)

Wears Valley Cabin

We stayed over the Christmas holidays at this beautiful cabin in the Smokey Mountains. When we arrived, the owner had the place beautifully decorated for the holidays and a beautiful Christmas tree was set up in the family room. The cabin was perfect for our needs; all rooms were decorated nicely and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped for all our cooking needs which was great. The cabin is situated in a quiet secluded area with fabulous views all around but with just a 15 minute drive we were in town. The kids enjoyed playing games in the lower level which was stocked with games, books and a pool table. We were very happy with our stay at Stairway to Heaven as it truly is. We would love to stay again sometime soon when we come back to Tennessee. Thank you so much.

Peaceful Retreat

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Wears Valley chalet. It was tucked away in a breathtakingly beautiful location, where we could enjoy watching the sunrise over the mountain tops while relaxing in the rocking chairs on the front deck. The cabin was spacious and well stocked and the owner was a pleasure to work with. We loved hiking to nearby waterfalls during our stay, our favorite being Spruce Flat Falls. The cabin was peaceful and secluded, but only a 20-30 minute scenic drive from Gatlinburg.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

What a BEAUTIFUL place!!! The view was awesome, the house was awesome, the weather was awesome!!! I would definitely recommend this place to all!!! One of the best times my family and myself have ever had!! Just a short drive away from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville which there were all kinds of things to do!! The property owner was also excellent to deal with!!
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Perfect cabin getaway!

We had an amazing weekend at Stairway to Heaven. The cabin is absolutely beautiful! The location is excellent. It is very secluded, so you won't hear your neighbors in their hot tubs at night. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin is well stocked with all kitchen items, towels, etc. The kitchen is updated and has very nice appliances. The layout of the cabin was much nicer than other cabins we have stayed in. You can actually take a nap during the day and not be distracted by the noise of your friends. I can't say enough about the owner. He is great to work with and is very accommodating. Would we stay there again? ABSOLUTELY! I will also recommend this cabin to friends and family!!!
