Wonderful Retreat

Kathleen and Tom Brooklyn, NY
Review Submitted: July 27, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We just spent a week at Studio East, and as other reviewers have indicated, it is all that is listed and much more. Tushita has thought of everything in this wonderfully comfortable, beautiful, quiet and serene space. The studio is near Canyon Road and Museum Hill, and only minutes from the Plaza, but worlds away. There were lovely touches like gourmet coffee and fresh flowers upon arrival, and plenty of guidebooks for local sightseeing. On a clear night, sit in the private courtyard and enjoy the thousands of stars! We look forward to a return visit!

Serenity in Santa Fe

Eva Leslie New York, New York
Review Submitted: June 24, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
This is one of the most beautiful spots in S.F. The zen-like decor and minimal style adds a light, uplifting atmosphere that is unique. It's place to restore and renew, while simultaneously enjoying all the flavor that the town has to offer. Additional benefits are that it is considered a "green' home, and is extremely safe, healthy and clean because of the the use of natural supplies. Is a special opportunity to stay here in this peaceful setting,

Serene Retreat

Review Submitted: June 23, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
My husband and I spent a week at Studio East in mid-June and can't imagine a better place to stay in Santa Fe. Needless to say, all the basics were covered--it was clean and comfortable with a great bed, nice linens, storage, flat-screen TV with satellite, gas stove/oven, small refrigerator, and sitting area. I cooked a few dinners and made lots of picnics and breakfasts in the well-designed, but small, kitchen. There are windows on opposite walls for good ventilation. The sliding doors open to a serene and striking walled rock garden. The large window on the other wall offers a view of a lovely canyon. The studio was very quiet and private. Although it is close to downtown (no need to get on expressways or even 4-lane roads), you almost felt like you're in the country. The owner is very helpful, but unobtrusive. Her notebook about the casita and Santa Fe was clearly-written and helpful. I would definitely recommend Studio East to our friends and would love to stay there again.

Best of Both Worlds

Gunvor and Steve Connecticut
Review Submitted: June 16, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Quiet in every way. An object lesson in good design--we loved the spare but comfortable layout and furnishings and the privacy, the aroma of the pines outside (the windows and doors are operable), and the owner's helpfulness. Immaculate! Luxurious towels, gourmet coffee, fresh flowers. We would not hesitate to recommend Studio East and hope it's available for our next trip to Santa Fe.

If you brought or rented bicycles, you wouldn't need a car for your Santa Fe stay. Very close to town and Museum Hill, as described.

The forecourt with cafe table and chairs let's you enjoy the clear air and skies of Santa Fe.

We wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful, quiet and friendly

photoli Bienne, Bern, Switzerland
Review Submitted: May 7, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
I stayed in the studio for three months and had a great time. The studio is located on a beautiful hill outside of the centre (not far, though) and is very quiet. It is beautiful, as can be seen on the photos, in perfect condition and well equipped. The owner is friendly and always ready to help. Finally, it is very reasonably priced for Santa Fe. I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Santa Fe and can recommend it without reserve.
