Nekoosa House Rental Photos and Description
House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 5-6)
Relax and listen to the 'whispering pines' from this charming 3-bedroom cabin. A perfect year-round vacation destination for one or two families, or for a romantic getaway!
Located in the beautiful, private Lake Arrowhead community, our cabin features all the comforts of home. We strive to make your stay as simple as possible, so we provide linens, paper products, games and activities, firewood, and most basic kitchen condiments. You need only show up and decide how you want to spend your days!
In the summer, choose from swimming in one of the two heated swimming pools located within the association property, playing a round of golf on one of the two championship golf courses, hiking in nearby Roche-a-Cri state park, fishing from the banks of Lake Arrowhead, horseback riding at a local farm, or relaxing on one of the gorgeous, private Lake Arrowhead beaches just a few blocks from the cabin.
In the fall and winter, you can hunt on miles of public Adams County land, go snowmobiling or ride ATVs on some of the hundreds of miles of groomed trails, snuggle up with a book in front of the cozy fireplace, or cross-country ski throughout the Lake Arrowhead community.
The cabin layout is as follows: The main floor has two bedrooms, one bathroom, the kitchen, and living room with fireplace. Bedroom 1 has a queen-size bed and is attached to the bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen-size bed and a full-size crib. The lower level of the cabin is set up like a 'kids' suite.' It contains the third bedroom, which has two sets of bunk beds (twin-twin and full-twin), as well as a large attached bathroom. There is also a lower-level family room with a TV/DVD/VCR.
We are extremely 'kid-friendly.' The cabin is complete with a crib, 'pack & play,' baby gates, and many kid games, movies, and water toys, so you won't have to drag a whole car full of supplies with you.

About Erica LaForte
We reside in the Chicago suburbs with our two daughters, but we always dreamed of having a cabin in Wisconsin. We purchased our cabin in 2004, when our oldest daughter was a baby. When we first drove up to the property, we fell in love with the towering pine trees and we couldn't imagine a more perfect spot for our family cabin.
Since then, we made so many special memories at our cabin, in all seasons of the year and with many friends and family. The kids love to fish, swim (at the pools and the beach), walk in the woods to find bugs and animal tracks, and roast s'mores over a campfire. The adults enjoy reading by the fireplace, playing board games, early morning walks, and relaxing by the pool. We invite your family to experience our cozy cabin!

What makes this house unique
Because we have young children, our cabin is very family-friendly. We provide lots of games, pool toys, books, and even a child-size picnic table and rocking chair. If you are traveling with an infant or toddler, just ask and we will be happy to install the removable baby gate at the top of the steps. The lower level bedroom with two sets of bunkbeds and a private bath is the perfect place for a 'slumber party' for kids or teens.
