Offering a fully furnished condo in the community of Winding River, 15 minutes south west of South Port on NC 211, 15 minutes North of Shallot on NC 17 and 40 minutes north of Myrtle Beach. It is located on the Carolina National Golf Course. There are three swimming pools, one right next to the unit, one at the Resident's Club House, and one at the private Beach Club house on Holden Beach. You will get full access to all facilities, minus the golf course, you will have to pay a guest rate. The beach is about a 15 minute drive, where you will enjoy the facilities of the Beach Club House, that offers private parking, bathrooms, pool, private access to the beach, etc.

Notes: In the community of Winding River, there are so many things to do you will be amazed. First let me start by pointing out the pool located next to the condo. You can let the kids go and swim and you can sit on the porch and watch them with out worry. Then there is . . Then there is the Carolina National Golf Course. This unit sits directly next to the club house. There are 27 holes of Freddy Couples design.

The Resident's Club House: The Resident's Club House has a huge pool, an enormous out door deck with gas grills and wireless internet. The clubhouse has a work out facility that is state of the art. In the club house's kitchen there is a commercial ice maker and a place for you to make meals for big parties. This will wind up being a place, when your not relaxing in the condo, to hang out and enjoy what it has to offer.

River House and Marina: Perched on the banks of the Lockwood Folly river is the River House and Marian. The marina is a small, but it can hold about 10 boats under 28 feet in length. Next to the marina, is the River House, a great place to relax. There are books available for you to read, a fire pit, hammocks, chairs and a variety of other activities.

The Beach Club House: Last but not lease, on Holden Beach is the Private beach club house. The Beach Club House looks to the east over the sand and the Atlantic Ocean. It offers private parking, bathrooms and showers. There is a community fridge where you can keep your drinks cold and you wont have to drag a cooler out on the beach. There is a pool, for those of you that don't particularly care to be on the beach or in salt water. You can enjoy the pool as the family frolics in the sand and ocean.

This condo is the best of both worlds. You can spend the day at the beach or hang around the pool. This condo is the best bang for your buck. You do have to do a little driving to get to area beaches or shopping, but it is worth it. We visited all the local beaches in the area. We enjoyed a nice drive to Mrytle Beach area for shopping. Or just hang around the River house and fish on thr river's edge. Owner's are awesome, readily available via email or phone. Great all around trip and we plan on returning.

This was our first time at winding river. It is beautiful. More for young families or couples, we had a few teen agers and you know they get a little over excited but they liked it too. I think they should consider adding a few hot tubs to the property. Our condo was great! Great price, beautiful, right next to a pool, we also had a pool and shower at the beach. Using the cards was a little cumbersome with 6 people and only one access card, should considering having two cards. River house is a neat place too. Very relaxing. There is a dollar general not too far away but did not find that until the last day, that would have been nice for bread etc instead of driving to food lion at holden. These owners are great to work with and I highly recommend a visit to this property, I have also posted the listing on my facebook to share with all my friends. thanks for a lovely vacation!!!!!
