This beachfront cottage is located directly on the ocean about 30 feet from the 'high tide' line. You'll have direct access to ocean and use of private beach directly in front of the cottage. Breathtaking views of Buzzards Bay, New Bedford, and the Elizabeth Islands from the deck and living room picture window. Cottage has 1 bedroom and a pullout couch and can sleep 4 comfortably. Lounging/Living room with picture window overlooking Buzzards Bay, kitchen with stove and microwave, and 1/2 bath with shower. Cable TV with DVD Player. No phone but good cell coverage. Clothes Washer, Deck, gas grill, picnic table and beach fire pit. Located about 1/2 way up Sconticut Neck in Historic Fairhaven, MA yet 5 minute drive to shopping, interstate. Close to bike trail, parks, harbor, whaling museum and historic town center. Day trips to Cape Cod, Plymouth, Boston, and Newport are less than an hour away. Martha's Vineyard Ferry is in New Bedford about 10 minutes away

We have rented cottages every summer for the last 4 years in this town & this by far was the best one. Super clean, everything updated, super cozy, affordable. We are a family of 4 and the space was not an issue. The kids played for hours on the private beach. Having the washer was a major bonus and time saver as we could pack less. The owners were gracious and wonderful to work with. We will definately rent again. We were just there 4 days ago and already miss it.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
