This 6 Bedroom/3.5 Baths oceanfront vacation property accommodates up to 14 persons. Oceanfront unit has 4BR/2.5 Baths and the back unit has 2BR/1Bath. This is a furnished rental. The large fully equipped kitchen in the oceanfront unit accommodates 10 to 12 persons on the dining table. One set of linens and towels is provided. A brand new washer-dryer is installed in the breezeway. The large fenced yard has a big above ground pool (24’ X 4’ - that is heated during the winters), a large Jacuzzi, big sun-deck, a few loungers and two outside showers. A gas barbecue grill, a picnic table and two putting greens add a lot of fun to your stay. The front L-shaped deck is great for relaxing, listening to ocean waves, enjoying sunrises and watching flocks of pelicans flying low over the ocean. Including the road in front, the beach is about 60' from the house. Flagler Pier, shopping, public golfing, fishing, restaurants, and medical facilities are within minutes on foot or by car.

Named after the oil and rail Baron Henry Flagler, Flagler Beach boasts over six miles of quiet, uncrowded pristine beaches with unlimited access and no cars allowed on the beach Flagler Beach is a great spot for sunbathing and for more active endeavors. Swimming, boating, tennis, and golf are all popular pastimes. Anglers can cast their lines from either the Flagler Beach Pier or from any point along the shore, searching for snook, whiting, flounder, redfish, snapper, sheepshead, and tarpon. For surfers, the area around the pier is also the best spot to catch a wave, especially after a storm! Walt Disney World, Epcot, MGM Studios, Sea World, Universal, and all the attractions in the Orlando vicinity are within two hours travel time. Flagler Beach is less than 70 miles south of Jacksonville, about 30 miles south of historic St. Augustine, and 20 miles north of Daytona Beaches!

Pelican View is neither too close nor too far from the town center, the pier, and fun. Flagler Beach has a small-town atmosphere and pace. It is a relaxed beachfront town. People are friendly, and the town offers some great places to eat. Going south on AlA, it is a pleasant seven-mile drive to Ormond Beach. The excitement of Daytona Beach's speedway and its great nightlife is only 15 to 20 minutes south of Flagler. You can have great fun driving your car on the beaches at Ormond Beach and Daytona. However, there is no driving allowed on Flagler Beach. That is one of the reasons why it is so peaceful here. Flagler Beach offers great shelling, and is known for great fishing. Fishing is allowed on both the beach and the pier. You'll forget your everyday routine as you splash your feet in the water, and walk along the miles of red-sand beach in this town. If you wake up early, you will see some of the most gorgeous sunrises ever. Flagler Beach is a small paradise.

Except for a few problems in the beginning which Joe was so gracious to take care of, we loved the home, the spot, gorgeous views and convenience of the area. It was private, spacious, and great for keeping the small children safe in the backyard. We enjoyed large meals together around the long table in the kitchen/dining room. We especially enjoyed the warmth of the temperature and the sun at this time of year coming from cold PA in the winter. It was great for our big reunion and so perfectly located for all we planned to see and do. We really hated to leave. Thanks for sharing your beachfront home.

Still no Refund

I rented Pelican View for 2 weeks ending in July 09, it is now Nov 09 and i still have not received my Security Deposit or cleaning fee refund. Every time I call and talk to the owner 'Dave", all I get are excuses. I do not recommend renting pelican view.
Owner's Response: Guests had mentioned that they truly enjoyed their stay. Refund check for security deposit was sent. It seems it was lost in the mail. We have been in touch with the Renter and the refund is now being processed.

The house was very nice, good backyard for kids but no attractions in flagler beach to do unless you go to daytona or st. augustine. Great ice cream shop down the street, did not really like the beach,sand was very uncomfortable.
Owner's Response: Thanks for your nice comments about our house. Sometimes when high tides come in, they may bring out a lot of shells on the beach. We have great restaurants that are so reasonably priced, like - MARTINS, facing the Atlantic ocean (well known for best steaks and burgers); SNACK JACK (great food and great location on the beach); FLAGLER FISH CO (finest and freshest seafood) and more. Renters love our uncrowded beach. Best of all, virtually no one can beat our reasonable prices for this extra large 6BR/3.5 bath oceanfront house with a pool, jacuzzi and more. In our knowledge, there is no house in Flagler Beach or nearby that even has has 6BRs which is great for family reunions, etc.

I was absolutely amazed at how spacious this home is. It's great for families to get away witht their children. The adults and children had an absolute blast. Everything we could have possibly needed was there. The pictures of this place does not begin to show the true element of vacation home that this place has. Everything was clean. Joe was fantastic. The restaurants were great. We especially enjoyed the Taco stand by the Pier. They have fantastic shrimp and fish tacos. Also, do not miss the Famer's Market on Friday or Saturday. They had great fresh produce and seafood. The front deck was our "hang-out" place. We had great walks on the beach in the morning and night. The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful for the kids. The entire package is really amazing. Thanks, Dave and Dyana!!!! We will definitely be back.

Perfect vacation spot for a large group

We had a BLAST in Flagler Beach. The house was perfect, very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay confortable. We spent lots of time on the beach right across the street and lounged in the pool. We also soaked in the hot tub in the evening. We where also able to walk to local resturants and stoes. We LOVED the Taco Shop across the street from the peir. Ten adults stayed in the house with plenty of room. We felt relaxed the entire trip. I would without a doubt stay again and would recommend this location to anyone.
