An awesome 3 level, 4 bedroom home on Sleepy Hollow Lake in Athens, NY. Great for Family vacations or a romantic hideaway for that special weekend with quiet walks on the end of a cul de sac. Large Deck with outdoor relaxation & dining. Relax and fish on the lakeside dock where the NYS Record White Crappie was caught by the Home Owner in the 2.5 mile man made lake. Perfect kitchen, dinning area & reading areas over looking the mountains & glimmering lake. In the downstairs Video & game area for 'Kid's' also includes a large sectional couch, table & chairs to hang out and a bedroom. Living area includes Sectional couch, 2 B/R; 1 1/2 baths and a great room with a wall of bright windows & a romantic Fireplace. The upstairs Master Bedroom Suite has it's own Fireplace & Heavenly Master Bath where you can get swept away! Only 2 hours from NYC. There is a SHL Community pool with basketball & tennis courts, golf range and baseball field.

We found a GEM on Sleepy Hollow Lake!!!

This is a great, neat, well equipped and highly recommended property. This SHL property was the best one we have stayed at over the past few years. The hosts were absolutely great and provided excellent service whenever we needed help or had a question.
Our children loved all the amenities that were provided here...the beach, the Lego's, the whirlpool tub, the pontoon ( a definite plus ++++) the bunk beds,etc. We loved that it was kept very neat inside and out, and situated on one of the best spots on the lake. The view from the huge deck is unbelievable. The layout of this house was very well thought out.
We loved the fishing, the visiing crane (my friend says it's a heron), and we will never forget the double rainbow or the doe feeding her fawns. Great pictures and great memories. One must also stop at Tatiana's for Italian food and Tom's on 9W for ice cream at least once while staying here.
After a wonderful week here, we are already looking forward to next year.

Great spot and home on the lake. Beautiful views and deck with wonderful amenities; pools,beach, canoe,rowboat, wildlife ,we saw over 40 deer. The only drawback was that the pontoon boat was out of comission.
