Private, Enclosed Garage with Remote Control: You will have exclusive use of an enclosed and private two car garage that is opened with a remote control.

Inside the garage is a stackable, frontloading, brand new Washer & Dryer.

You will also find two beach bags, beach chairs and beach towels here for your pleasure.

You may enter the guest house securely from the garage, or your visitors can enter from the sidewalk.

Our loft-style home is perfectly located and is an ideal base for living in Los Angeles. We are located in the heart of Santa Monica, in a quiet residential area walking distance to the white sandy beaches with its 22 mile walk / bike / rollerblade path. We are also a short walk to Main Street, one of the area's most popular destinations for upscale eateries and hip boutiques. We are within 1 mile of Venice & the Venice Boardwalk (famous for its cast of characters, street vendors & performers), the Santa Monica Pier (complete with a Ferris wheel, 1922 carousel, amusement park & dining), 3rd Street Promenade (movie theaters, Farmer's Markets, terrific shopping, dining & engaging street performers), and Montana Avenue (frequented by affluent Angelinos & celebrities). We are only 20 minutes from LAX, 15 minutes to Beverly HIlls, 25 minutes to either Hollywood, Malibu or Universal Studios, and Disneyland is only a short 45 minutes away.

Cleaning $150

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • $2000 per week, $5000 per month. There is an additional $150 weekly cleaning fee. The rent is due 4 weeks prior to arrival. Fully refundable $2000 security deposit required. We accept all major credit cards through Paypal, cash, cashier's checks or money orders. The primary renter must be at least 25 years of age, and children must be at least 8 years of age. Our home is not child-proofed, so renter must assume all responsibility for the safety of any child on or in the property.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the loft house - the location is fantastic - very close to beaches (although we chose to drive to the beach, because it's a healthy walk, and we generally had beach bags/chairs to carry). It's a short jump over to venice beach, too - and with Deborah's help we were able to navigate quite easily over to Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Universal city, etc. Minutes from 3rd street promenade and Abbott Kinney. The house is immaculate and very well equiped. Also, despite being on the owner's property, is very private and separate from the main house. Deborah was very helpful when we called to get the local insiders scoop on getting from point A to B, etc. Would highly recommend - so comfortable and so many things to do in the area. I recommend trying some unique things - we all had a surfing lesson on Santa Monica Beach, rented Segways on the beach, went to Universal Studios, Hollywood/Madame Tousout's, Beverly Hills, 3rd Street promonade, drove up the coast to Malibu/Zuma, and more.

Wonderful Weekend in Santa Monica!!!!

Just spent 3 nights in this wonderful Loft House in Santa Monica! Perfect for four people, the house is even better than the pictures! The owner was very helpful in booking, excellent directions from LAX to the house, with plenty of information at the house. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely book this again next time we are in Santa Monica.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers

Loft house - definitively a place to stay

We spent a week at loft house - August 19-26 with my two daughters coming from Paris.
We all enjoy the house, well furnished, located in a calm area.
Girls felt at home, maybe too much and were reluctant to walk to the beach.

Deborah is lovely.

I agree with others reviews and definitively, I recommend staying at the Loft house

My family recently stayed for 10 days in the Loft House. We all had such a wonderful stay. It was everything we had expected after seeing pictures and reading all about it on the website. It was a very comfortable retreat after busy days. We enjoyed coming back after a long day and cooking dinner, putting our feet up and then having a great nights rest. Deborah has made sure the Loft House has all the conveniences and comforts of home. It truly is very central to so many popular attractions and sites. I would highly recommend "The Loft House" to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful Holiday Home in Santa Monica

The Loft House is a great property with all the conveniences to make a comfortable and relaxing stay. It has its own private entrance, large secure garage and the house itself is very thoughtfully designed. The rooms are all a good size and the house wonderfully furnished throughout. Everything from the kitchen facilities through to the provision of towels (lots of!) was perfect and clearly some thought and planning has gone into creating this accommodation. The viewing deck is even visited by the local humming birds! Deborah was always very helpful and the list of her suggestions on places to buy food, shop or eat out were spot on. Our only regret was not having had more time to stay there. As many have said on here before it does tick all the boxes for a family visit to Santa Monica.

It's a perfect base to visit Santa Monica and the surrounding LA and Malibu areas but it's also great to have somewhere you look forward to coming back to in the evening.

We would thoroughly recommend staying at The Loft House to anyone and hope we have the chance to do so again!!
