Our family custom designed and built this beautiful log Chalet in this secluded wooded mountain setting, as our weekend mountain get-away and holiday retreat. The family is a little more scattered now so we can now offer our private personal chalet for you and your family's enjoyment and relaxation. The Brooksong Chalet is located 1/4 mile below the top of Ski Mountain and Ober Gatlinburg and the famous Gatlinburg tramway. See live Black Bears at the Black Bear Exhibit at Ober Gatlinburg. Skiing (seasonal) and Ice Skating (year yound) and restaurants and shopping and tons of children's activities including the Alpine Slide (a must do for all ages) and ride the chair lift to the very top of the mountain to the Scenic Overlook and one of the most breathtaking views of the Smokies. Ride the world famous Gatlinburg tramway down the mountain into the heart of the quaint resort mountain village of Gatlinburg for shopping and dining or just for the ride itself.

Our Chalet is located just off of Ski Mountain Road and only a five minute ride to Downtown Gatlinburg. Our Chalet guests have full membership privileges, including swimming pool and tennis at The Chalet Village Owners Club less than a mile away. Notes: This chalet was built as a mountain home. It is in a secluded mountain setting 1/4 mile from the top of the mountain in Gatlinburg. You are minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg as well as all the attractions at Ober Gatlinburg. This is a warm and cozy atmosphere that you will want to return to year after year. Just this October, we completed an eight week updating and renovation to the property. This included brand new HDTV's, hot tub, landscaping, refinishing of the house, etc. We are happy to answer any questions you may have, so feel free to call us anytime. We look forward to your stay.

Great Cabin...Great Location

Just returned from our stay here. Great cabin in a close to town but away from the noise location. Snowed on the mountain Saturday, Oct 17th, Was fantastic to drive up and see then return to build a fire and enjoy this property. Good choice to replace everyone sitting around in a hotel room. Enjoyed the huge open living room and big screen TV. Really liked the bedroom with the fireplace. Owner very easy to work with and help make our last minute reservation easy to do!

A Great Time

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful chalet. We had a bear and raccoon visit us while we stayed. The house is close enough to town, yet far enough away to be "out in the country". The kids loved running up and down the driveway and looking off of the decks. We arrived home and the kids wanted to know when we were heading back!! We will definitely be back next year. I would recommend this chalet to anyone.

Wonderful getaway in the wilderness

This is the best place to go for relaxation and a good time. I was able to spend time with my sister and her family from Florida. We had bears visit us everyday of our trip, trying to come up and share our food. The cabin is beautiful and very safe. When I first got there I was a little disappointed by the fact that there is no mountain view, but the cabin and surroundings more than made up for it! I was very sad to leave there and I hope to return.
