Wonderful Vacation

This home was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The kids had a great time and there was plenty for them to do both inside and out. The upstairs loft has a pool table, air hockey, a large doll house and toy bins galore to entertain the children when you're not out exploring the river. There are huge windows throughout the home that provide a wonderful view of the river. The architecture and curves of the home are also unique adding to the experience. The pontoon boat is great for exploring the river although make sure you wear shoes since the deck is pretty worn and slippery and could use really some cleaning and repair. The kids also had fun fishing off of the dock and actually caught several fish just using bread on the hook. The house was easy find and close to several restaurants and stores for food and supplies. I would also recommend driving to the headsprings of Rainbow Springs State Park about 5 miles away to swim in the crystal clear water there. It's a beautiful park and makes for a fun afternoon picnic (just make sure you bring water noodles for floating in the springs as you can't use rafts and it's about 7 ft deep all around). Overall, we had a wonderful time and are considering making this an annual trip.
