The Slopes: Snow-making equipment is available on most trails. Snowboards are welcome -- the resort boasts a new half-pipe area and terrain parks. Angel Fire snowboarding was recently rated 'Best Snowboarding in the US'. And Angel Fire is the only resort in New Mexico with two high-speed quad lifts. Enjoy your nights sitting in front of the fireplace. Watch movies or sports on the 55' TV equipped with the Dish network and 120 channels. Shop in nearby Taos, Red River, and Eagle Nest or go only 90 minutes to Santa Fe. This ski resort location is equally beautiful in the summer, when you can golf at the resort's PGA course, hike the Carson National Forest, or fish the best spot in New Mexico at nearby Eagle Nest Lake.
