The apartment is absolutely gorgeous! It is spotless and offers the comforts of your own home. Upon arrival, Darren, the owner, gave me a thorough tour of his property, use of the house keys, even pointing out the restaurant that provided delivery service. Since he lives across the street, if there are any problems he is readily available. Being from NY and familiar with the area, there are a couple of Soul Food restaurants a block away that are delicious. When I picked up my fiance, he was equally impressed. Until we find a place of our own (and this is exactly what we are looking for), we will definitely want to stay here again. The apartment is located on quiet, residential street. There is also on street parking and I was able to park in front of the building. The city bus is in close proximity - although I don't have information on where is goes, but it is quite frequent.
The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom was spotless with nice, plush towels and generous sized tub. Because of the weather (25 degrees) we did not open the back door to the garden. I'm sure that would be nice to use - in the summer.
I have to reiterate again on how impressed we both were at the size of the apartment and on the cleanliness. We can't wait to return for a longer stay!
