Winter Ski and Snowboard Season!!! Snowmobiling!!!:
This property is located 5 miles from the family oriented ski mountain King Pine. Enjoy friendly skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing. Cross country skiing and night snowtubing are also available. Across the street at Purity Springs resort there is an outdoor ice skating rink!
If you're looking for more of a downhill challenge, there is Cranmore, Bretton Woods, Attitash Bear Peak, Wildcat and Black Mountains all within 30 - 45 minutes drive depending on which resort you go to. Also, just across the Kangamangus Highway is Loon Mountain and Cannon Mountain.
In addition to skiing there are numerous well groomed snowmobile trails!!! Leave right from the house and go for miles!!
Shopping and Restaurants in North Conway!!:
Continue North on Route 16 and the cunning shopper will find deal after deal at the outlet stores in North Conway. Featuring stores such as Timberland, Polo, Banana Republic, LL Bean, Adidas, Nike, Yankee Candle and much much more you'll find everything you need for this holiday season!!!
After a day of shopping enjoy some of the local fare at places like Horsefeathers, Up Country Saloon, Belini's, Muddy Moose and Cafe Noche!!
Summer Activities:
Summer is a beautiful time of year on the lake. We have a fantastic private beach with a dock. Not even a mile away is Ossipee Lake Marina where you can launch your boat or jetski or rent one. Enjoy waterskiing tubing and wakeboarding on any of the five bays located off of Ossipee Lake or head out to the big lake for a swim and a picnic lunch. Drop anchor and relax at the sandbar. This beautiful lake is crystal clear. You can navigate the channel from Ossipee Lake back to Danforth Bay, and the house, but conditions must be right and the way may be for experienced boaters only please.
There is also a great golf course only ten minutes away called Indian Mound. And plenty more in North Conway.
Horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mountainbiking are all great summer activities available in the area.
Ski:
There are plenty of ski mountains open for the adventurous traveler. For the less advanced and family skiers there is King Pine. Located less that 5 miles away they have skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, cross country skiing, and ice skating.
Just up Route 16 you can find Mt.Cranmore and Attitash. Snowmobile rentals are also available.
