This luxurious home, located at 1800 Canby Ct. has been completely remodeled by Jonathan & Beth Hondorf who are renowned designer and builder. It offers 2,050 square feet of air-conditioned living space. The 1,680 square feet of screened-in lanai deck includes a heated 38-foot swimming pool, and an eight-foot spa with a covered area which includes an outdoor grill for outdoor dining. The home has high ceilings throughout, with light flooding in from all directions. The living and dining rooms have 18-foot ceilings with 12-foot-long sliding glass doors that completely open up, connecting the living area with the lanai. All doors leading to the pool are fitted with special child-proof locks. The gourmet kitchen is completely outfitted for any and all culinary delights. The spacious master bedroom has a king-size bed, walk-in closets, and a large bath with a separate walk-in shower, soaking tub, and two vanities.

Great boating, fishing, and access to the spectacular Everglades. Our home provides quick access by car, bicycle, or boat to the areas many amenities. By bike or car you can get to the beach, restaurants, movies, golf, tennis, shopping, museums, and entertainment. By boat it is quick access to the Gulf of Mexico or the backwaters for fishing, exploring, or fun on Marco's beach or numerous barrier islands beaches without the people crowds. The dock can accommodate large or small boats that you own or rent one at the local marinas nearby. You can also fish or sun bath right off our dock. The house is close to Naples with easy access to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Everglade City, and Ft. Meyers. Beautiful beach sunsets!

Overall, this is a great house. The owner was very accommodating. We had to make our plans last minute and we didn't have any problems. The house was clean, in a good location, and provided great bikes to tour the island. I caught plenty of snapper and saw both a manatee and dolphin right off the dock. We had a little trouble with the spa and the owner had someone there the next day to fix the problem. I would highly recommend this house.

We stayed in March 2009. The house was beautiful, even nicer than the pictures. The house was very clean. The cleaning lady used natural cleaning products so not to upset my respiratory allergies. The owner was very easy to deal with. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We used the bbq on the screened lanai. The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac which was perfect for the kids to ride bikes and skateboard. We fished off the dock with the rods provided and actually caught fish. The pool was great for swimming laps. The spa needed some repair on the tiles but other wise worked great. There was plenty of pool toys for the children. Beach chairs and beach toys were provided. The beach was a short drive away. The grocery store was down the street. The next door neighbours were nice to the kids and let them feed their fish. We loved this vacation and are planning to return next year. I would suggest the owner purchase a small shop vac to remove dog hair from the lanai and screens.

I have been a guest in your house in Sept. 2008, and I like it very much. The house is beautifully decorated and well-equipped, and with a lot of games, toys and water toys it is perfect for families with children. Pool and spa gives a nice refreshment. There is very much space in the house, especially in the living-room, at the pool terrace and in the main sleeping-room, which is, as well as the connected bathroom, a dream. The large kitchen is perfectly equipped. I have missed absolutely nothing. The contact with the owner was excellent, and the property was clean and well-maintained. The describtion was accurate in all matters. The only thing I have to complain is that the fence near the pool at the street side should be fixed, and the CD-player don´t play any CD, and so it is very "picky" in playing CDs. I have enjoyed my time in your house very much. Highly recommendable!

Our arrival time was uncertain but access to the house went exactly as arranged. The house was prepared well for us and we were not disappointed in our choice of holiday accommodation for our party of three adults. Great to swim 100 lengths in the heated pool before a leisurely breakfast outside in the covered area overlooking the water. Gardeners kept the outside tidy and the pool was attended to regularly. We stayed for three very enjoyable weeks.

We stayed for three weeks in Decemeber (2006) at this fantastic residence. The house was open, spacious, clean and perfectly located. The property plays host to a spectacular dock, pool and spa that is sure to relax you. The rooms are nicely decorated and supplies are plentiful. It was really much more than we expected. The pictures don't do the property justice. We are planning on making this Marco Island home an annual retreat.
