Surrounded by the beautiful Appalachian mountains of NE Tennessee and approximately 15 miles from Boone, North Carolina and another 5 miles to Blowing Rock. We are also close to Bristol and Johnson City TN. Lake Watauga is the 3rd cleanest recreational lake in the country. It is also extremely scenic with the majority of the lakes 106 miles of shore protected by national forest

If speed is your thing, Casa Lago has it's own covered boat dock. Bring your own boat or Jet Ski or you can rent from one of the local Marinas. Included! a new 3 seat canoe and paddles already in the water at our covered boat dock. Very easy access with level driveway and plenty of room for cars. Only 3 steps to our boat dock After a day of boating, you can go hiking right in your own back yard on our private path. See the beautiful colors of fall! We are close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Appalachian Trail. In winter we are a 1/2 hour's drive from Boone and Beech Mountain and within a hour of four of the 'High Countries' top Ski-Resorts including Sugar Mountain and Appalachian.
