Disappointed

I was disappointed by the fact that this property was dirty and smelled of mildew. The comforter on the bed had an odor and was not usable. Thankfully it was warm.
I would not stay in this property again.
Owner's Response: I am very shocked that I have received my first negative review since I have been in business. I guess it goes to show that you can't please everyone all of the time....It is just not humanly possible. I work very hard to keep all of my guests happy and provide them with a clean and comfortable place to stay. If you notice, these guests were from Ohio. I am from up North myself. The climate is very dry in the north. In Tennessee, the humidity is very high all year round. To add to this, it has been a very, very rainy year. You just can't get away from the dampness in Tennessee no matter where you stay. I was surprised that these comments were left after the guests departure. At no point during there stay was my cleaning staff or myself notified that there were any problems with the cabin and they stayed for 5 nights! I list my cleaning staffs phone numbers on my Directions, Access Information, Terms and Conditions and I even have it posted on the Fridge and in a notebook that I have made to help guests learn the area. This is a direct quote from my Terms and Conditions "UPON ARRIVAL:
WHEN YOU ARRIVE, THE CABIN SHOULD BE CLEAN AND SET UP WITH LINENS AND SUPPLIES IF THE CABIN HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED WHEN YOU ARRIVE OR IF THERE ARE ANY CLEANING ISSUES, PLEASE CALL CABIN SERVICES IMMEDIATELY AT 865-***-**** OR 980-***-****. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO CORRECT THE PROBLEMS, BUT WE MUST BE MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM WHEN YOU ARRIVE. WE DO NOT OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS, REFUNDS, OR CREDITS FOR ISSUES WITH CLEANING. YOU MUST NOTIFY US OF THE PROBLEM UPON ARRIVAL. With my cleaning staffs phone numbers listed in so many places, I just don't understand why they did not pick up the phone and call either my cleaning staff or myself??????
