A wonderful Cape Cod style home in the village of La Jolla. Walking distance to all. An amazing gourmet kitchen and lovely wood floors throughout. Enjoy the almost perfect year round climate with the outdoor dining area & gas BBQ in the backyard. The 3 bedrooms are all on the upper floor, and each has a queen size bed - the master bedroom with a TV & its own en suite bathroom, while the other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. There is a separate powder room & laundry room downstairs, and both the dining room & kitchen have double french doors opening out to the backyard. The separate 'cottage' in the backyard has its own bathroom, pullout double sofa bed, and tv. There is also a garage with second floor studio in another freestanding building at the very back of the property, but they are not included in the vacation rental, so all parking is on-street. A non-smoking home. Rental fee all inclusive.

We spent a wonderful week at Linda's home in early July and I really can't speak highly enough of the property. The house has been beautifully restored and furnished and for those with young children the enclosed backyard proved to be the perfect place to play and for parents to unwind, with a bbq and a few drinks, after a day at the beach or any of the many local attractions. The house and garden are in immaculate condition and Linda was very helpful in ensuring our stay was enjoyable. For those looking to have a beach holiday, a car would be recommended to reach La Jolla Shores, WindandSea and other beaches but a number of shops and restaurants are only a short walk away (few minutes) and The Cove is only a ten minute walk from the house.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
