The Perfect Beach Vacation Rental

I rented this unit for a week’s vacation with my two adult children, their spouses, and three grandchildren (6, 4, and 1 1/2), and we all agreed it was the perfect vacation rental, especially for families with children.
The unit is modern, clean, and well-maintained. It sleeps 8 comfortably and easily. There is a flat screen TV in each bedroom and in the family room and also a DVD player with many family DVD’s, an X-BOX, and a good selection of family board games. We particularly enjoyed the walled in patio with fire pit and grill. Having two indoor parking places was very handy, and we also loved having a pool and Jacuzzi in the complex.
The unit is a very easy walk (even for the little ones) to the beautiful Del Mar beaches. Also within easy walking distances are a great selection of restaurants (both casual and upscale), a park and playground, and cute little village shops. The many San Diego attractions are easy drives. We went to Sea World, and it took about 20 minutes. It’s also a five minute drive to the Del Mar Race Track.
I could have left home more than half the stuff I usually cart to the beach, as the unit is extremely well equipped with amenities for the beach….many beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, water and sand toys, and a wagon to cart your stuff or your kids.
For anyone traveling with a small child, the unit has a porta crib, high chair, and safety gate to block off the stairs.
The owners were very easy to work with. They responded to all my email questions in a very timely manner, and although we had no problems during our stay we did have to contact them with a couple questions, and they were readily available by cell phone.
