This beautiful California Craftsman was built in 1905. It features 3 luxury flats. The building has been restored to its original old world elegance, but has been upgraded with the best of modern amenities. This classic craftsman rests in the heart of downtown San Diego's trendy/artsy East Village. Enjoy a truly unique San Diego experience, with a one of a kind historic luxury in the heart of downtowns most vibrant neighborhood.

The Mudville Flats rests in between neighborhood best described as Wrigleyville and Bourbon Street. Just steps to Petco(Padres Ballpark) and the Gaslamp Quarter and a short walk to the Convention Center.

Mudville Flats offers large suites 600-700 sq. ft. with open floor plans. The flats have full size kitchens with modern appliances and cooking utensils. The Bathrooms have imported ceramic tile, original clawfoot tubs and showers have been fully restored.

In The Middle Of It All

If you are looking for a place with a fantastic location and owners who go the extra mile, this is the place. I came to San Diego to find permanent housing and this location allowed me to walk to my realtor and walk to all downtown apartments she showed me. It really gave me the feel of the city while being very clean and well-maintained. Having the owners on the property helps when you need advice and direction. I learned important info about San Diego and felt very comfortable and safe. Thank you Mike and Linda for everything.

Perfect location to see the city of San Diego!

Location is fantastic even if you don't have a car. Close to everything, we walked everywhere and it was just short cab ride to Balboa park. Trolley Bus Tour took us to all the sights. Gas Lamp Quarter right around the corner. Mike and Linda were fantastic hosts. Slept great & the bed was really comfortable and the linens luxurious. Quiet room even in the heart of the city. We loved having meals on the deck and looking down into the garden that was done beautifully

This vacation rental is perfectly located to walk or drive virtually anywhere in San Diego. The bed is a dream and the outside patio is lovely to sit on overlooking the charming courtyard. Very clean and the hosts are helpful and friendly. A small issue was dealt with honestly and openly.
