The sun room is the spot to hang out. With it's eight large windows and sliding door to the deck, you can't help but sit and watch all the wild life before you. That Seal that is wondering who you are is Sammy. I don't know when he sleeps because he spends his day patrolling the waters in front of the house. Then at night you can hear him slapping the water in the cove. A couple of times a week at 8:30 AM a doe and her fawns walk by between the deck and the water. Depending on the season (Fall) the salmon come back to spawn in the creeks and rivers. The jumping salmon really make you wish you had bought that fishing license.
The drive down to Hideaway:
Hideaway gets its name from where it's located. Coming from Olympia you take Lynch Road off the 101, a nice country 8 mile drive. From Shelton you take Arcadia Point Road for 7 miles . Then you turn onto a long private driveway. The canopy of maples and cedar let you know right away that this isn't a regular rental. The driveway starts off flat then points down all the way to the no bank waterfront.
When beach combing you won't find many homes and those you do are off the waterfront, so you will most likely have the beach to yourself.
